for setting, there's a korean bl novel called "the hunter wants to lay low", similar world + regression. no translations though. kr bl novels are hard to find in english.

Another thing, due to the timing of them putting Saitama in a hyperbolic chamber and him falling asleep, actually had me wondering if perhaps Dr Kuseno was a villain and set them up to purposely to try to prevent Saitama from interfering and sending the robots to get rid of Genos (hereby preventing him from knowing the truth). But then when I saw Kuseno injured, I knew I was wrong lol
