I agree that the sexual intimacy was brought quite awkwardly, but I think that it is in tune with the characters. Their relationship is quite awkward. It's a kind of push and pull. I also find it quite cute and that it adds realism to the story, unlike other BLs. So let’s all enjoy a Boy Love without the usual rape and psychological abuses that have been regularised and are ubiquitous in the genre.
