The story really started to meander towards the end and the conclusion was disappointing. I don’t even care about age gap if the story is told well enough but this one just fell into stupid old tropes.
Still, I’d like to read a spin-off with the school friend Anegasaki.
This story was really unsatisfying. It was so melancholy you don't even feel happy about the ‘main’ couple kinda sorta confirming their feelings. Don’t get me wrong, it wasn’t bad, in a way it was realistic, but it just didn’t feel “right”.
imo this author’s writing style is a bit too cute and fluffy for such dark depressing themes but I’ll still read this this because their work is usually good!
So we’re just not gonna address the internalized homophobia?
Ok.
