I can't name another story, but the art style looks REALLY familiar, I'm positive I've read something else from this artist
Man I love this story but it’s kind of funny he’s met the guy he wants to kill so badly on multiple occasion, and he’s in the crowd rn.. Like at this moment he’s all “I’LL GET REVENGE I SWEAR” pushing himself to his limits while the guy is standing 20ft away chilling☠
Usually when an MC is super hyped to kill the evil guy for revenge he goes straight for him at any chance. “Any chance” because each time they meet the MC is usually stronger. And if the power difference is too big they don’t meet often until MC powers up more and gets beaten by evil guy in smaller battles while evil guy is all “come back when you’re strong enough muahakaka” But it seems like our MC can really control himself because he’s just glared at him

No way. I hate harems. I also don't mind if someone is alone. But the issue is, if someone suffers a lot like this MC it would make sense somehow for him to find solace alone the way that gives him back some strength one in a while. I can’t handle the art style change. Not only are the characters more anime big eyed and less refined but the shading is so bland now. The older art style was painterly and unique. We went from moody environments to basic bright colors.

Side note: I started reading this from the moment it first came out, but soft dropped it after the chapter where he gets drunk and almost kisses his coworker because of Dionysus.(I thought it was gonna be a harem lol) But I just reread it today and it took a long time, but I’m so happy I did! I lowkey forgot but everyone in the story talks about him being “ugly” because his face is kind of obscured and fuzzy to whoever sees it right?(fourth wall schenanigans) Or was it because he was written as ugly, so the story deems him ugly to the characters while he’s not? Or he’s just average looking mob character and everyone sees him as ugly compared to YJH? I feel like his drawn too attractive for that to be it? I hope it’s the 1st one. I think there was a moment when a companion saw him (in some abnormal circumstance I forgot) and they were like “woah he’s not ugly why is he called the ugly king? Why am I just seeing this now?” So I’m going with the obscured/distorted face theory for now. If he’s just a mob looking character that’s okay too I just want to know

the artstyle itself is quite pretty and does justice to the main characters regardless of their canonical appearance in the book, for example, kyrgios is more attractive than yoo joonghyuk, but in my opinion yjh is drawn way more attractive. DO YOU KNOW WHAT IM GETTING AT??
no he wasn’t average lol, in the book jihye described him to be quite good looking when she caught a glimpse of him behind the fourth wall. because of the fourth wall his face becomes average and blurry and since it’s blurry people call him ugly
