I guess at ch 600 he was still a immortal zombie? Well from there because as a immortal zombie he cant cultivate, he s looking for a way to cultivate with hei lou lan. He doesnt find a way that works for or benefits him. Then he learns the immortals are fighting bc theres shadow alliance(i think they were referred as that?) which is leaded by Spectral Soul Demon Venerables soul that he left behind. Its a rank 9 gu that makes u a immortal from rank 6 and can advance without limits(it has a disadvantage tho). The reason why this is so important for Spectral Soul Demon Venerable is that he can escape from fate gu(rank 9) with this, and he can live and rampage. Fang yuan doesn't know any of this at first and dies right there when immortals are fighting and he revives using autumn cicada.(what are the chances right? Turns out it isnt just plot armor o.o) He knows he must get the rank 9 gu, so he plots. When he gets the rank 9 gu, he sees wisdom venerable telling him to destroy it and he will be better of with benefits of the central region. Turns out the reason cicada autumn worked twice is bc fate was trying to use him for destroying the rank 9 gu. Fang yuan steals it instead, and he becomes wanted and untouched by fate, bc now he has an otherworldly soul and body. Fate cannot control him.

I haven't been able to read past too much, the copy of the novel I found was cut short, and I also only have minor spoilers. First, the maid, Marilyn, returns, and she was a spy for one of the women in the family. I forgot what happened, but in order to protect Anisa, she chooses to be loyal to her and Dietrich. The little blond boy who's supposed to be Dietrich's right hand in the future interacts with them a lot more, though Dietrich doesn't seem to like it too much.

There are about 36 chapters on novel updates but from chapter 24 onwards the translation is honestly bad and difficult to understand or get anything out of. From what I understood before the shitty translation took over, Anisa enters the grounds of the garden/castle that's on the other side of the Dahlia castle that she and Dietrich live in. She hears someone basically trash talking someone else and hears the sounds of someone getting beat up, and goes towards the sounds to find Yurik (the blond boy) getting beat up by the children that live in the same castle as him because of his blue eyes, which are apparently a trait of the Southern people. Because of that he's scorned by the other candidates due to not having the Lagranges' dark eyes. Anisa is led away from there by him, and he warns her to not come because the children from there hate the children from the Dahlia castle. The garden she crossed into turns out to be Leatrice's garden, Leatrice being Derreck(the Duke) Lagrange's most favored concubine due to her being from a powerful family. Dietrich finds them and takes her back.

At some point Anisa also comes across Dietrich being beaten up by his sword instructor, and I believe the sword instructor is Leatrice's brother, who also happens to be harassing Marilyn, the maid. There's also a part where she snoops on the conversation between Leatrice's brother and one of the vassals(?) Of the Lagranges, where he talks about selling a soul stone which is primarily used by the Lagranges to keep the candidates for Duke from using their shadow powers during sword practice. There is apparently a banquet at some point where Anisa convinces Dietrich to take her with him, and she slightly purifies the other vassals' auras so she can get them to be agreeable to her. Her plan is to expose Leatrice's brother for trying to sell the soul stone. She manages to convince most of them, with Dietrich backing her up when the brother tries to turn it on her, but Leatrice cuts it off by asking the Duke to persecute her brother after the banquet under the guise of not wanting to interrupt a celebration. Dietrich gets angry with Anisa for drawing attention to herself and as a result slightly putting herself in danger but forgives her after.

After the banquet one of the vassals visits Anisa in the Dahlia castle, and he turns out to be a traitor from the Euclid, which is Anisa's real family and the family of the original ML. He says he became a traitor after cutting off his brother, Prince Euclid's head, who I would assume was the person who should've been the head before whoever the Euclid head is now. He seems to take a liking towards Anisa and talks to her gently, though after the chapter describing his visit ends the new shitty translation takes over and all i can understand from that is that he gives her little gifts, such as seeds that only grow if you have the power of the goddess like Anisa does, sweets and money and acts somewhat like a guardian. The shitty translation also seems to describe Dietrich and Anisa going to a little fireworks festival near the drawbridge of the Lagrange castle, where merchants are visiting and selling food. Dietrich doesn't let her eat anything, claiming that it's poisoned, which turns out to be true as some of the merchants are on Leatrice's side. He finds some skewers that aren't poisoned for her but returns to the spot where he left her waiting and she's gone, so he searches everywhere for her for about the rest of the festival and finally finds her eating some skewers, and offers him skewers of her own that she found. I couldn't really stand reading the translation after that because it's difficult to get any kind of understanding from it.

You're welcome! And yeah, usually I read it no matter how shitty it gets but it was actually starting to piss me off. Someone in the comments of the novel on novelupdates compared it to someone uploading just a straight up machine translation with no editing or fixing to make it make sense. You can more or less understand by inferring the best you're able to but after you try to guess what they mean whatever you come up with just doesn't make sense lmao
