Honestly to me Vanitas and Jeanne makes more sense to be than Noe and Domi. Whether you like it or not Jeanne obviously likes Vanitas and came to terms w it and Vanitas seems like he has an attraction or some curious feelings towards Jeanne, whether they’re fleeting or genuine is a bit unclear it’s obvious that something is there. Whereas Noe and Domi is one sided, it’s hinted throughout that Domi has a crush on Noe but I think Noé doesn’t see Domi anything beyond a sister figure and someone he feels like he has to protect due to his guilt. Even in all of their blood sucking scenes, compared to Vanitas who shows physical attraction towards Jeanne, all we see Noe feel is comfort, in being able to drink blood w/o having to be feared for looking into her memories. Also I don’t think Vanitas holds any romantic interest in Noe, true he first started his relationship w Jeanne bc of Noe and Domi I think they just proved to be a inquiry for him, he wanted to see if something like blood sucking can really bring ppl closer/make you feel better. But I do think Noé holds some interest towards Vanitas, whether it’s platonic or romantic, but if Noé or Vanitas was the opposite gender, I feel like all of Noe’s actions (like his jealousy and confessions) would’ve been viewed in a romantic way. Although there isn’t any grounds for a relationship between Vanitas and noe, I don’t think them having one would take away from the plot but I do believe it’s stupid for ppl to push that idea just for the sake of fetishizing mlm relationships bc of bl/yaoi.
