Yes but my point was that insecurities affect everyone differently, people do silly things or hurtful things because in their mind they believe it to be the right thing. I personally don't agree with his actions either, I'm just empathetic because while it's not something I would do, I can understand why he'd react like that. Don't forget this isn't the first time it hasn't worked out for him, he was with someone for a long time before he just up and left and married a woman. He probably assumed the seme is still straight and couldn't get it up with a man.
