I kinda know what you mean. I sometimes hate it but also sometimes like it .... It’s complicated. Sometimes, like Naruto and sasuke is a great ship of mine so I like reading doujinshi bc I really wish the actual manga had them get together since the did kiss like thrice. I do have dojinshi that I hate bc it’s either the original is in my child......   reply

Nope. I may take breaks but not gonna give it up, unless my future partner feels uncomfortable since it is mature. Then I’d try to give it up and read shounen ai and shoujo ai instead but make my partner read and be lovey dovey with me in exchange. I know, many people around me think me reading manga is useless since it’s pictures, who needs o......   reply

You probably are since yaoi is mature, and if I was a sensible teenager I’d advise you to stick to the pure shounen ai stuff. But..... I also started at a young age of 10 soooo (I blame the internet bc I kinda accidentally found a gay fairytale which was amazing then the mature stuff kinda happened...). I don’t know, you decide. Yeah I’m kinda Buddhist. I do feel a little guilty reading the mature bits but not the pure shounen ai or shoujo ai or shoujo though. I like reading all genders and don’t feel guilty unless I read yaoi or yuri since it’s mature... I think yaoi and yuri is fine, although I sometimes (when I’m not in my strange mood) skip the mature yaoi bits......   1 reply
