Japan really knows how to romanticize some sick ish lol
Be prepared, this story is basically, "It's ok that you manipulated and r**ed me in my child form, because I had feelings for you anyway" type of yaoi. Not gonna knock people who still want to read. Just think you should know what you're getting into.
The Jowoon vs Taku battles are fun but is no else concerned with the fact that Haesoo is (still) being stalked by his crazy ex and he's probably gonna get hurt :/ ...Or worst he will somehow manage to get proof about Haesoo and Jowoon's past relationship and spreads it to the media.... Just thinking about that gives me anxiety >.<
I think Haesoo feels cornered and hasn't had time to properly process his feelings about the loss of his relationship with Joowon. He's confused and trying to "go with the flow" but it's clear he's still hesitant and unsure. Taku isn't wrong for pursuing a relationship, but it feels like he's pressuring Haesoo because he doesn't want to leave any chance for him go back to Joowon. It feels very forced and doesn't seem like it will end well. Haesoo should be alone for awhile until he's mentally and emotionally ready for a serious relationship.
...Is literally not having Jihyun be a rapist at all in the original ¯_(ツ)_/¯
I honestly LOVED his character until the rape was confirmed. I enjoy Oryu's work but still think the rape bit was a terrible decision if you're going to present the character as a "troubled" and sympathetic, potential love interest instead of an absolute villain. Being a toxic, emotionally abusive (eventually physically abusive) former friend would have been more than enough. Hope they stay away from rape in their future works.
He's so cute. I love characters who appear stoic but are actually super sweet and air-headed. I like how everyone around him falls in love when he smiles lol I kind of wish the story focused on him developing a relationship with someone (*cough* mole-guy *cough*) instead of having the added drama of being in an established relationship with another actor, who happens to be a possessive lover. I don't find that storyline interesting especially since they're not showing his lover in the best light...
I've really enjoyed how HuanWen's story has played out so far. From his continuous proclamations earlier about being straight, I was wondering if this would follow the stereotypical "I suddenly find myself attracted to a man" trope (no shade to Lihuan or the Red head). But instead we're shown a realistic character who, for his own reasons, has hidden himself in the closet for so long that he can't admit to anyone, including himself, that he likes men.
I also love the fact that it's implied that Yuyang has known this entire time that HuanWen is in the closet. It just adds so much more dimension to their friendship. Can't wait for the next chapter!
Look at the last page of chapter 5 and you will see the example of what the "Present" dom command means ;)
