not because the art isn’t beautiful, but i feel like it doesn’t suit the atmosphere of the story. it’s a bit childish and doesn’t have that air of elegance to it, that id expect from a royalty comic. something a bit more dark and expressive would’ve synced with this more… think of stepmothers marchen or kings maker. with how heavy the topics are, and explicit now, it’s been throwing me off and i only realized now
