what’s with this artist and having badly written works? and no idgaf if it involves violence, rape, revenge, toxicity, or whatever. a story can have these without it being badly written. but this authors characters are always lacking… the vengeance/crimes are never valid compared to initial wrongdoing and there’s always a clear sadistic psycho who “wins” in the end
the chemistry, facial expressions, and art style will always carry. again, i always wish this artist would hire a good author/storyboard consultant to plan out the direction of their stories
it still makes me emotional that it took him a while to realize he truly cares for his family, so seeing that the people around him make it known they appreciate his presence in place of them… tears in my yaoi eyes

to me, her character really shined when she decided to comfort her brother in her own way instead of how the og princess did. it showed how empathetic she could be, without relying on the novel. but lately none of the characters including mc, show growth in their closest relationships or selves
i was looking forward to seeing the family develop more and even see them flesh out in personality but all the characters except og princess have been stale… the brothers aren’t given a personality/life of their own outside of how phil sees them, and she herself hasn’t been able to accept others love her. however i still get why she believes her dads don’t love her because both situations are completely traumatizing + it’s different with parents you expect to love and cherish you!! one neglected, hated, and killed her while the other didn’t even care a single bit, so im still on her side with this one

i regret my initial thoughts about mc because i believed she was a mary sue. too perfect, written to be a overly gracious maiden needing saving. but these past few chapters have been extremely raw… there isn’t any exaggeration with how she behaved at the start of the story until now. the backstory of her and micheol really explained it all without feeling underwhelming or “fake”
This is so much more realistic than people thing. This kind of stuff really happens. Sometimes even the ml happens to make the fl realize they need to leave their relationship. I think that's why I like it so much. I'm literally around her age and I've seen to many times. The ex is so much like many men who leave their wives for younger, prettier versions cause they're bored or stressed or whatever. They regret it later tho.
exactly!! at first i wasn’t a huge fan of the story because i thought it was very stereotypical and cookie cutter. where the mc is the naturally beautiful, submissive wife that ended up with a bad man. and then the ml would be the wattpad badboy savior 2.0. but now im really in love with the storytelling and mc, while the ml is obviously flawed within his plotting
these latest chapters have been SO good at representing and explaining women who stay in horrible relationships especially throughout their early adulthood. these disgusting men then go on to crave validation from younger/“untouched” girls + other males as a form of social currency… yet punish their wife for accepting and loving them despite their flaws

the potential this story has is amazing!! but it relies too much on characters avoiding the obvious. i get the ml is some type of entity and is extremely strong based off what we’ve seen so far with him being able to manipulate, change, and even block memories
but imo there should’ve been a slow realization of mc struggling to question things. for example, he was accepting of everything the brother did and didn’t look into why he was okay with it. and then also not finding it weird no one could “see” his hyung the same. while the hyung was probably responsible for his lack of doubt, my thing is mc left these issues alone and we weren’t shown why/he was completely fine with life altering and strange situations constantly. seeing him have conflict with his own perception of reality in minor ways would’ve helped the story flow more!
