THE PLOT, STORY, WRITING ARE FULL MARKS. im devastated that original abel passed despite his kind and genuine nature… ngl im really going to miss his big bear body that contrasted his unapologetically sweet personality. mourning that he was forced to live in a weak twinks body but him being alive is all that matters
but i cant wait to see how the prince overthrows the whole council then gets his well deserved vengeance against them. even though he looks really unwell from everything that’s happened, and the build up between both character is going to be worth it
the author has potential to make really good toxic stories but the progression, timing, and general execution aren’t good. i think this story is pretty interesting but at the same time it’s messy and missed the mark on certain aspects. i don’t see anything wrong with violent revenge or blackmail plots but you need to give a character some foundation before putting it in or else it feels lackluster/not as impressionable. do other people feel the same??
i always feel like this author lacks depth or direction when it comes to this. ive read short stories with less than 10 chapters do this trope justice without coming off “meh”… in simple terms

tj worked unbearably hard to make them work, was there for ian’s lowest, and was working towards a future with them together. although tragic… it’s extremely understandable why ian needed out because being tjs love also meant accepting the environment + turning a blind eye to every action now matter how malicious or hurtful. tj’s intentions and actions don’t forgive the pain he’s caused. at the end of the day tj is someone passionate and needing someone who would fit in with his lifestyle. both of them would eventually crash and burn

compared to other miscommunication arcs in yaoi this one is where im fully on one persons side. hwibum ONLY wanted to hear the full story and that’s all!!! to understand how yeonwoo was hurt!! he was keeping their argument a secret yet didn’t express why he was feeling that way and hwibum fully took his side over the friend. there was no devils advocate at play, and he wasn’t being buddy buddy with the childhood best friend
“meeting him behind my back” BUT THEY WERE LITERALLY ARGUING IN PUBLIC SO VISIBLY?? there wasn’t any semblance of friendliness. instead of playing mental gymnastics to “catch” his partner, yeonwoo should’ve straight up confessed he saw them accidentally and his feelings are hurt because of the promise. but no, he threw a frustrating temper tantrum using rape as punishment and then decided to give the cold shoulder… as if he wasn’t the one who started this entire fiasco!!

but i agree with everyone saying shes boring now because there hasn’t been a single inch towards emotional growth even after she’s been shown unmistakable love/affection. it’s starting to get annoying now because there hasn’t been any type of misunderstanding arc or lack of relationship building between her dads + brothers after she was brought back home. they have genuinely formed a bond and she’s basically set for life. her money issues, outside threats (king), and even friends who see the real her. again i see where her insecurity comes from with her dads. but with everything else i can’t help but want her to have a set goal and want her to stop rejecting people’s love
