i feel like the confession was done perfectly with how the story was going. it makes sense for cirrus to confess after going through that traumatic experience bc he just wants to get the weight off his chest and actually be himself after holding back for so long. he was playing civil but his “parents” showed no love or care for him, literally hurting him any chance they got, no matter how he behaves. wishing the best for them both and that they can empathize with each other’s trauma instead of holding back/having misunderstandings bc of their pain

also, i hope cirrus’s experience terrible, indescribable pain by the end of this story <3

i think jaekyung has a goal of doing every possible fucked up thing you can to a potential partner. like was the rape not enough? NOPE. blackmail? NOPE. controlling his life? NOPE. he really took it one step further; degraded, exposed and then obliterated dan’s trust even further in front of a total stranger. im wondering how much worse he can get bc hes far from redemption #best male lead

i do want to see how this ends so don’t get all butt hurt by this comment but im like so shocked at the amount of danger jae poses for him when getting dan on his side is so damn easy. bro just could’ve been nice, not manipulate dan every chance he gets, taken care of him without forcing dan to do stuff, showed unconditional affection, etc and the plot with the blonde celebrity still could’ve happened

IM SO ATTACHED TO ERIS AND THIS STORY I CANT. her life got turned upside down so tragically, and im wishing her happiness. the development of her and anakin’s relationship was so natural, and his devotion/respect towards her is such a huge declaration of pure loyalty and love

if u can avoid novel spoilers pls do, imo the anticipation for what’s next to come while reading is so worth it. don’t be like me and get curious bc it’ll ruin the fun of not knowing the ending (◞‸◟)

this story has been lowkey boring, mainly bc the main couple hasn’t progressed at all and they’re not explaining either of their backgrounds. for example, why seowoo seems emotionally neutral most the time and how the grim reaper became that supernatural creature. it just seems like we’re seeing side quests only, and not getting to know the characters personally

this story finished so quick, i swear they were on chapter 20 when i first caught up to it?? time to binge read boys ( ° ʖ °)

sunwon and albis are building such a strong bond, it’s so sweet to see. glad to see the story moving along more with its romance and how sunwon will play a role in albis plans to improve his country.

side note but pretty much all of this authors work centers around sex so if you are looking for a story where the plot centers corruption/royalty + less nsfw scenes, you should check out the manhwa “king’s maker” instead. kinda unfair to blame the author for their content when their works have been pretty consistent with sex scenes happening every few chapters. it’s like walking into a burger restaurant and getting upset they have too many burgers- like u knew that’s what they mainly had but u kept coming to a burger restaurant still

it’s a known fact that this story is shitty and terrible but can we also mourn the fact that the art is gorgeous but wasted on a bad story like this. like the artist’s understanding of anatomy and how they draw emotion is so appealing but it’s not being used to it’s full potential. hoping the artist collabs with a good writer and doesn’t make literal torture porn again bruh
