So I've read the novel and all of a sudden the webtoon changes its plot and I'm so confused. cuz here I am reading multiple comments of whats going to happen in the future but their all completely different. someone pls help me !!!

Yes, the novel is in English but I've read it a long time ago, and not to its' completion, so I might jumble some bits or forget little pieces of it but here it goes. So after Athanasia vanishes before Claude's eyes (this was in the rose garden) she hops from city to city. We find out that she can use magic (obviously) and she's on the run because Claude is trying to find her. (right now she thinks he's trying to kill her) Now in webtoons, we don't find out how she is able to use her magic with ease, but in the novel, we know that she secretly goes to a school of magic ( If you read "beware of the brothers" I think that's the school) using her invisibility. This is why she can do so many things and not only survive but thrive in the outside world so well. (we also find out that she is amazing in magic and waaaay stronger than Lucas) Now during this time, she checks, very rarely on her favorite maid lily. (one time she almost got caught by her father) But its been a really long time since athanasia has seen lily so she wanted to meet with her. Upon her arrival and seeing lily sitting down, athanasia arrived to her side, only to her surprise that it was not lily but a puppet. All of a sudden magic circles appear in the room preventing athanasia to run. Then low and behold Claude comes in. Athanasia tries to run away using her magic but for some reason everytime she uses it. It hurts Claude. Claude basically tells her if she tries to use magic to leave it'll hurt him and if she ever got away he'll literally kill half of his citizens until she comes back and thats how she got persuaded to stay. (Claude was really desperate for her to stay even though he didn't know why) Slowly the father and daughter duo try to regain some of their bond, and their love for each other start to grow back even though it still hurted Claude being near her he didn't care. (also I don't remember but there was a tea party with jannete and blah blah blah my brain didn't bother to remember that my bad) Then some time later, Don't remember this part. woohoo Lucas is back (during her birthday) !!! Athy cries to him hugs him so hard saying if only he was here everything would have been ok. she tells of what happened to her father (Lucas was pissed that her father did that to her) So he checks, by himself what happened to Claude and when he gathered his deduction called Athy. And literally right in her face stabbed her dad with part of the tree of magic thingy (the one Lucas ate so he could regain his power) Athy cried and the Claude remembered everything ( during him being unconcious he also gained memories of what happened to the old athanasia the one he executed, although he thinks this is a dream) and then they cry together Athy hugs her dad who remembers her all is well. and This is where my memories are blurring all I know is that she continues to go to that magic school, some weird old wizard wanted to disect her obviously father would never allow thus killing the poor bastards. Very note worthy Athy x Lucas time that I wish were in the webtoon but sucks for me. and as for Jannetts she gets jealous a bit cuz well whit dog's son ( sorry forgot his name) likes athy but cuz she thinks its her sister she just feels sad. ALSO that black haired guy who ya'll think is the freakin brother (well i guess he is in this webtoon) is not the brother but the wizard, Lucas old mentor, the one who he looked up to. apparently he just used the body of Claude's brother's corpse because he had a bit of magic in him so he was able to use it that's also why he had to replenish his magic constantly cuz it wasnt his own body. Another side note there's a big story about Jannette but for the life of me I don't remember sorry.

So..... I'm skimming through the raw chapters for this manga, and let me tell you its torturing me in a bad way.
SPOILERS!!!!!
first off, the art style changes dramatically!! like, I appreciate diff. type of art styles but this did not complement the characters at all!!.
second, I've gone to as far as skimming up to 89 chapters and he doesn't even realize that he has any "real" feelings for her but he still plays and toys with her. Our FL is shit and gets into more trouble than before like, she is supposed to be a freakin assassin but she sucks at it.
Third!! FL was caught taking a bath and the ML saw her naked body ( now i cant read Korean but since i assume that he is kinda smart he'll put two and two together note this was like chapter 80ish) and then next few chapters come along they finally freakin kissed again!! you'd think that be great right?! well your freaking wrong after their oh so passionate kiss he starts being a fuckboy again and flirts and kisses more girls!!
ALSO I honestly feel like this FL is just being abused emotionally and physically by this ML .. idk if I can even read more I just wish the plot would at least get better than this!!

So again she's not strong, capable or anything 'just cute' sb remove tag "Strong Female Lead! Please its fucking annoying that she's so useless and idiotic, common author give her some character quality! Let her be good at her job somehow not just lamb to be forever played and rescued by sb...and who always forgives ML!

Maybe its just me cuz I'm so biased with the og novel that I read. But as I'm looking and reading the current illustrations now im just mad. Like everything is sooo diff. from the novel. They're overcomplicating things. freakin anastasia whose suppose to be like what?? 24-28 can't even think like an adult anymore! but this is just me venting... I'm just going to drop this manga... maybe look at it when like my love for the novel dies down and accept it just going to be a different plot, but not now.
