it seems like after 9 years, despite being in the same shitty situation, jungkwon’s character has matured and even confessed that he needs to apologize to Kangjin. However kangjin’s character has not developed at all (or at least yet) still hung up on their relationship and planning revenge. Also he falls in love easily to whoever shows him an ounce of affection.
exactly, jungkwon's clearly regretful of his actions and has developed despite having a shitty life, and it's not like kangjin was completely innocent when they were in high school so i really don't know why he's so set on revenge
