Oh, this was quite enjoyable. Junghyuk was quite problematic, he seemed way too obsessive but hey, he makes Taesu happy so I can live with it. Speaking of Taesu, I loved him so much, he carries the entire bl. Gido's little side story was very good as well, I generally hate second couples but this one did not take away from the main story and was it's own little thing. I loved Gido's brother confessing so randomly to Taesu, I thought it was handled very well and quite realistically as well. Again, Taesu is very likeble and his grounded way of approaching his life was engaging to read. I also enjoyed that the author tied up all the little loose ends except for the key to the apartment which still erks me. It was so close to being perfect but hey, it's better than 95% of the BLs out there.
This was very good. Jaerim is the sweetest kindest most nicest human being, ahhh. Yuri really grew on me as well. But like it has been said before the assault scene was not addressed at all!! And the bullies were truly disgusting human beings. It pissed me off so much. The other couples interspersed throughout the story really disrupted the flow, I generally don't like second couples randomly introduced. The comic book guys had a non-consent scene. Let me not even get into Aerak and the blonde guy, I despised that story so much and I wish it was never added. It broke my heart and it was genuinely triggering to read. Chilly pepper was far superior and the trauma with Aerak was never even resolved!!! The blonde dude is shallow as hell and his words are truly unforgivable. I'd like to imagine that Aerak dumps him and ends up with Chilly pepper in the end. God, that plotline infuriates me.
Ahhh! This was really cute, it's a solid read. I might have also caught a mild case of second lead syndrome. Myungjun was dreamy. Very enjoyable, I wish it was just a tiny bit longer so we could see a little more of the MCs. Youngwoon was a very weak mc at first, his introduction really put me off but he grew to be a really lovely guy. Sungho was such a sweetheart, I reread the panel with him and Myungjun over and over again, so cute. Also, he looked so much better with black hair, the blonde was not doing it for me. I'd like to imagine that this was an au of KDJ/YJH with Yuki being the Uriel.
Yo, wtf? This is actually incredible and I did not expect it to be even 1/4 as good as it is. Seung Min is the best protagonist I've read in so long. He's legitimately perfect. Hyung Je is intriguing but the real star is the plot. Very strong side characters too. It's so good that I wanted to ration this story, worrying that I was going to catch up with the uploads and just scared that it would end too soon. I'm so excited to see where this goes, it's the best executed actors/idols trope I've ever read and I'm very very happy.
Can someone for the love of God please tell me if the misunderstandings are gonna be at a hair falling out level of frustration? I want to read this but need to be emotionally ready if it's going to be a painful angst phase where everything could be solved by just speaking to each other. The art is divine and the character are so cute but I cannot handle the pain. Thanking you for your service in advance.
This bl is the definition of a guilty pleasure. Nothing makes sense and the plot contrivances are off the roof but it's so enjoyable. The author seems to forget that they all have actual jobs to do, set up a race in a ridiculously short amount of time, nobody notices how much younger the father in law is and the plot with the professor and the brother also comes out of nowhere. I'm confused constantly but I can't stop reading it! I'm also so glad that he changed back to his orginal age, I was not vibing with his 19 yo self.
The author is phenomenal. Hanyul's sincerity often caught me guard, he's the loveliest person and I truly admired him. Weon clearly grew as a person and there are a lot of parallels between him and Harold but the biggest difference was the choices he made. He chose to compromise, to give Hanyul the freedom to choose and his love grew to healthier. Yuda is clearly the best person second only to Hanyul. As for Harold, his actions are unforgiveable. This bl does a lot of things right and does a few things wrong but I loved this story so much. It's very very special.
