Loved this. It’s more like 75% plot and 25% romance but that’s exactly what I want. I love the ML, he’s so competent. The love interest suffers a bit from under development. We didn’t get to see to much of him. The plot was really well done and the characters were all fine af. It has its problems but this story really aligns with my taste so I’m more than willing to overlook them.
Lord have motherfucking mercy on my soul, I am obsessed with this! Wtf? This is one the best things I’ve read and I’ve never heard of it before. God, this is chemistry like I’m trying to be normal about this but the CHEMISTRY has me weak. Taegun being both a badass individual and a uke, really well thought out themes of trauma, ptsd and wanting someone to save you from yourself sometimes. The dialogue too. I’m weeping with joy.
the cherry on top is the tension whenever they’re doing it. It doesn’t feel superflous unlike a lot of other BLs where it’s way too much, this is a treasure. I heart it with all my heart.
I love this and I want to shout it from the rooftops! It’s so well done and the dialogue is so freaking good. I’m not easy to impress but I’m hella impressed. I love the MC, he doesn’t do stupid inconsistent things and his personality is just perfectly caustic.
I cannot wait for this to be complete, I can feel the angst coming so I’m going to try to forget it for a year or two and rediscover this gem
I love this with my whole heart! The author is so so good, one of the best in BL. I love all the characters and the plot is so good. So many compelling relationships too, Lucifer and Michael, the Mateo and Maverick (I thought it was brilliant how he ended saving Mateo through his greed for Mateo), Coral and
Remy (I loved Coral’s insecurity because he thought aren’t wouldn’t need him since he was so competent) and of course, Roro and Sasaeng. So excited to see where this goes.
This was really enjoyable and the characters actually grew? Shocking. Cheolho needs therapy though, I loved his character arc.
Also regarding the baby, the artist seems to have no idea about the developmental stages of kids, he’s drawn like he’s under a year old and can only crawl but speaks in full sentences?? Also he’s the size of Cheolho’s hands.
I love this. Everything is just right and although the smut is… a LOT it doesn’t dominate the story like a lot of BL does. I really really love Taehyuk, he’s smart, experienced and is not afraid of what he wants. The dragon is a touch bland but I forgive it.
I can tell the third season is going to test me. The brother is for sure entering the picture and stirring shit up. I am not unhappy about this two falling back in love and also, the dragon actually getting to experience the world a little more. He’s so painfully naive and never let himself live for himself.
The story is like a B - but the half demon is so fine I forgive it
Loved this and I can’t really articulate why. The gore was not for me but it was so done so masterfully. The story and design elements were amazing. All the demon designs were drop dead beautiful and disturbing, perfect for the world the author created.
HeLl really did seem hellish, I don’t know how to describe the feeling of hopelessness it gave me. I mean, they were doing terrible things to each other but they were more human than humanity I thought that was very well done. They lived horrible lives and inflicted pain and suffering on each other and love made them wither away, heartbreaking and poignant too.
Mako was an interesting character. I think I didn’t like him very much but he was absolutely a realized person not a cardboard cutout of a person. J even more so, I found kind and cruel in equal measure. I liked him a lot because he seemed more human than Mako. It’s interesting that the story follows Mako vs J because I’m sure I wouldn’t like J as much when he was on his quest for W’s love. The ending was perfect. Mako’s obsession and J’s death perpetuating a new cycle. The position at the top that can only be achieved by inspiring hate/love and the loneliness of it. Urgh. It’s really very good.
