There's a post on Facebook about a manga, I believe, but there is no picture, just the description, and I was wondering if there's actually a story like that. So it goes like this: it's a fated mate kind of world, where you recognise your partner by the tattoo they have. If they have the same tattoo they are a fated pair. Guy A didn't want to have a mate, and he discovered that there was a guy, guy B, that could actually erase the tattoos, so A goes to B to get his erased, but he finds out that B has the same tattoo as him. If there's actually something like this please tell me! Would love to read it ^^
It's a popular trope in western fandoms. It's called a Soulmark.https://archiveofourown.org/tags/Soulmate-Identifying%20Marks/worksI wish this was the one that got popular instead of Omegaverse. t8nt3d
I think if they had the same popularity it would've been better as it can get boring after a while
Eh, I'm more on the board of at least it doesn't perpetuate rape stories and it's not the least bit heterosexist but wcyd. t8nt3d
I hate that rape is the plot of many omegaverses, I've only seen 1 manga where omegas were treated normally (were they really, forgot) And I think the idea of mpreg is weird but cute

Agree, I also hate all the rape plot used in omegaverse mangas. There is potential to the plot WITHOUT all that. In that sense I guess that's why mpreg is a bit better, there are no pheromones or anything forcing them together, while there's still the possibility of them forming a family. Also this fated mates kind of goes the same way for me, as they kind of, at the end of the day, force two people to be together, because "fate" dictates they should. What I believe is a good thing in these cases and some of my favourite stories with this plot do is that they fall for someone who is not fated, and have to face all the struggles together, even if their fated partner does show up.

Thanks! T.T I would ,love to read something with this prompt as well though… ლ(´ڡ`ლ)
"Say the right thing" on tapas has similar concept. They have the first words their mate would say to them tattooed on their arm.
I wish we could contact a mangaka and they can make it into a manga..
Not the first time I'm hearing that, Hwa is something else after all

Oh, same! I've only got three stories in my anti-destiny tag ( http://www.mangago.zone/people/tag/420000/anti-destiny/). If you've got some, rec me.
