...is too good. The plot, the dynamics between all of the mcs, the background stories too omg It doesnt help that Heechan reminds me too much of myself being a store manager myself.
Like wtf its 4 am and Im crying cus mangago had me thinking there were 37 chapters, when it stopped at ch 35. Can't wait to see how the relationship between Heechan and Minjae is going to progress in this situation.
Ok so I dunno maybe I'm just being paranoid, but I'm starting to kinda low-key doubt Suhyeok's intentions?
He seems like a good guy. Nonchalant, but caring (also, his confession is one of the smoothest confessions I've read yet in a manhwa).
It just seems like he's rushing Seunghee? Like, it's their first date and he's already taking him to his house Σ( ̄□ ̄||). Seunghee is obviously insecure about their relationship, and is still questioning suhyeok's feelings.
Still, the star part was cute, and made me re-think, but I can't help my suspicions. (Also, I can't help it if I'm babying Seunghee too much the poot baby has been through so much shit.)
Suhyeok rushing him might be a consequence of Suhyeok having a lot of dating experience.
He is so used to bringing his former gfs to his house, that he didn't see an issue with bringing seunghee over. I don't think he's trying to rush him into hanky-panky but he doesn't understand SH's hang up on moving on to the next steps.
(also SH said he wanted to continue and Suhyeok probably doesn't know that SH was just riding the flow and didn't actually want to make a leap past kissing. They are so awkward around each other, SH needs to be a bit more open about his concerns)
Did I just read. How to unread this. I need holy water cause this was downright awful. Everything from the story to the characters.
The seme keep spitting about his love for the uke at every chapter, but I don't see no romance. All I see is rape rape rape.
That uke is not any better. The blood brother and even the seme raved about how brave he was when the uke was young, so what made him such a wussy now like wtf.
The art is the only good thing about this manga, which is a shame. Tbh this had potential (I actually had the nerve to think that this would be end up like A Night of a Thousand Dreams).
If anyone wants to read a similar plot, but done RIGHT def check out A Night of a Thousand Dreams. It starts of kinda similarly with the uke disguising himself as his sister to save her. Beware, this one has ACTUAL plot and BEAUTIFULLY written characters and character DEVELOPMENT.
It's a really intriguing plot.
I kinda feel like Seojun's sister(the green eyed girl forgot her name) knows so much more than she lets on. If we rank them after who knows the most or who has the upperhand I'd bet my money on that girl. Even tho Hayoon seems like the boss rn (he's always plotting something bad against Haneul), she strikes me as something much more.
Haneul is either really naive or just playing the white rabbit in this story. I can't really see him as a murderer? If I was to point a finger at someone maybe Kim Gi Chan (he one who's Hayoon's 'substitute' for Gaeul)?
But it's not likely Gaeul got physically killed. He was most probably pressured mentally/psychologically forced to do it.
That's it for my speculations. Anyone got anything else?
Also, am I the only one who gets Kim Gi Chan and Hyung Shik confused?? ( ̄ε(# ̄)Σ
The drawing style of Heechans eyes and face changed a lot from around ch.13 and onwards. The style got kinda cliche? Like the mainstream bl manhua style. Esp with the defined lips and individual long lashes, also the scratchy eyebrow filling.
I can clearly see the art has generally been refined and it looks more defined than from the earlier chapters.
But Heechan looked more like a cut-throat business/store owner with the shaded lashline and strong eyebrows.
Yeah noticed it too, it was basic at first but then the art got better without changing the design around ch14/15, but nooow they changed his design and i feel like it takes away from the character image and the personality they gave him, especially the eyes’ design.
it’s no big deal for the past few chapters bcs it just has him getting mad or moving around so we’re not seeing him sit and think like in the earlier chapters and that’s where the og design really shined
I totally get what u mean. He looked fierce at the start, cold but fierce. But now they're forcing him to seem....princesssy with the lashes and all...pretty n soft ykow..?
