Bro you'd think the ML, being a king for so long, would've matured and grow either more conniving or charismatic.... Instead he's just a dumbass who can't control his emotions. He's not even good at trying to convince the MC to stay, he's even creeping out his own childhood friend.
But honestly, it IS great writing. The ML is a piece of shit, maybe eventually he'll grow because of desperation... Or he'll sink so low that he'll be even more than irredeemable. The MC is so likable and such a great character, this author knows what they're doing for sure. I'm thrilled that the MC is so unwilling to budge and puts his foot down, he probably feels like he has nothing to lose. He knows what he wants to do, and after losing his family he feels as if nothing else can prevent him from helping others.

This is one of those times where the ML is such trash that I don't see how they'll redeem him. Has he been through a lot? Yeah... But so has the MC. The ML has a sister who loves and cares about him, someone he can rely on and talk to in times of need but the MC had NOBODY for the longest time until his best friend came around.
Talking about the best friend, FUCKS SAKE I am SO tired of second ML syndrome, what is the point of the first ML when the second is so phenomenal? I was hoping to dear god the best friend didn't have feelings for the MC for that exact reason. I was hoping they had a sort of brotherly bond and a "found family" sort of relationship, but obviously the best friend liked the MC even before finding out he was an omega since he rushed to his side from the get-go. That is a fucking shame, the MC would have been so happy with him but now he's bonded with this fucking asshole.
It's also a shame that the MC was pretty much forced into heat when they got bonded. He tried to leave, he felt bad that the ML didn't have his suppressant. It's also obvious that the ML liked the MC if he shrouded him in pheromones but his oh-so important father is like "conceal your feelings or else" what a fuck nut.
All I care about is the MC and his kid honestly, what a parent to put himself last for his own kid. That's the type of person who should have kids, I feel so bad for him for being so lonely for so long. The fact that he craved a family so much that he didn't abort the kid is also sad, this kid is one of his only sources of happiness.
This is honestly so good though LMAO it's going to be a guilty pleasure sort of comic. I love the MC, I really do. He feels realistic, HE'S TRYING TO TALK THINGS OUT AND TRYING TO CONFRONT THE ML, but noooooo. That shows how he's 10x more emotionally mature than the ML.
I read the comments of the prequel to this, reading both the good and the bad... But it honestly made me feel worse for Damon, like he was already internally comparing himself to his dom alpha brother because of his one parent blaming himself for being recessive. His opinions were never cared for, both by his family and those around him. The omega guy is fucking trash, he was an obvious fan which is cute but he definitely felt inferior to Damon. His inferiority complex turned into a victim complex, and while Damon did almost mark him honestly... Leaving Damon in limbo and pretty much taking advantage of him makes shit even out. They were young and stupid, and honestly I hope they don't meet up again because I feel like Damon is going to forgive him/apologize to him (which he doesn't deserve).
The younger brother is also part to blame in this, the fact that you were going after your brother's ex???? That is honestly gross, obviously he had to have known with people saying Damon called his brother after almost marking him. Damon can't even rely on his family, which honestly same but it's such a shame.
I just binge read this story, I love them so much. The build up and everything were fantastic, I am so thrilled they got together and are going strong, they're perfect for each other! I love Damon, he's such a cunty diva. He's so likable for me, he loves to play it cool but he's such a emotional whore despite how he makes himself out to be.

I love this, don't get me wrong... But I feel as if the storytelling is a little off. The beginning was fantastic, it caught my attention immediately and made me feel sympathy for the MC, but now it's paced weirdly. I don't know if it's because they keep focusing on random things, but honestly it feels like a ton of filler chapters. It's been 91 chapters and I feel like the MC still has a lot of growing to do in the martial arts world, plus when they focus on other people (like the martial alliance) it's a bit... annoying? I'm never looking forward to the chapters without MC, it really doesn't make sense to write multiple chapters without him when he's the center of the story.
