I hate open ending stories, but for this one it felt perfect. I wish there was a second volume but at the same time idk if I could handle it if it wasn't a happy ending. Depression is a horrible thing and it presents differently from person to person, both characters have depression but it is so different for each character that they have a hard time seeing eye to eye half the time... but it's also what causes them to bond and open up to one another.
In my imagination, Konno learns from Saki how to enjoy the little things. Lemons, yellow, fireworks, a beautiful day, karaoke, all the things they enjoyed together could brighten up her boring day. They learn from one another and grow together into people who can make it through the day without wishing the next would never pass. Sometimes all you need is someone to reach out and show how much they care in order to continue going. Konno obviously felt that her family wouldn't care whether she lived or died, maybe they're strict and caused her depression in the first place.

It's cute that the boss is trying to look out for the student, but he's an adult too and it's not like the boss led him on and coerced him into feeling that way. In the end I think they're both going to be super happy together.
It's funny that as an artist I can tell when they use the symmetry tool or when they use certain effects (like multiply, certain brushes, certain rulers and backgrounds). It's fun, especially since I love the art so each time I read I'm learning something new LMAO
While fiction does not equal real life people take inspiration from the stories they read and apply it to their daily lives. Just because one person is wise enough to know right from wrong that doesn't mean the next person is. I always see the argument "fiction isn't reality" when it pertains to grooming, incest, and other types of weird sexual things. I find it to be a poor argument when each person is completely different in their way of thinking. There have been people who use the excuse of fiction (like star wars, call of duty, other video games and movies) to incite violence, why would sexual things be any different?
When showing these things in fiction (grooming, rape, incest, etc) and it's portrayed as a bad thing that's one thing, but when it's portrayed as insignificant or something that could be covered with a band-aid it CAN have negative consequences. It is said that the way stories are told is a good indication of how one's environment and/or society is like. It's a good indicator of how that time's morals and ways of thinking are portrayed. A lot of people end up becoming numb to the different topics.
It genuinely freaked me out when louie (the mom) said that he could've seen this coming from the get-go, that Yullur was extremely attached to him from an early age. I don't think people understand what grooming is fully. Grooming could be favoritism, building trust, etc etc. It's a broad spectrum that changes the child's (or the one being manipulated) perception of them. While it is a very thin line that Yullur was walking on, it's iffy telling if it was fully grooming.... But the relationship is wrong in general. Regardless, it's typical in BL like this. I'm surprised I even stuck with this story, but I read Louie's part and thought this would be fun.
I'm sure whatever the sword supreme is upset about is justified... at least I hope. But being so obsessed with someone else and their relationships is insane. I'm sure they dated in the past or were married since they bicker like an old married couple, he probably said or did something stupid when drunk so it made her not want to be around alcohol since it reminds her of the past... But come on, at your big age being so consumed by rage over someone you could just ignore is wild.
I feel like a lot of times people forget idols and celebrities are people too, they eat and shit just like everyone else so ofc they'll want to have a relationship too. I don't understand people who put idols on a pedestal when behind the scenes they could be the freakiest person ever, and not in a good way. I used to be into KPOP, and sometimes i'll listen to some 2010's KPOP but what really ruined it for me were the fans. There are so many horror stories with KPOP stans that freaked m out, I wouldn't be surprised if some of the idols feared for their lives.
It's good to be passionate about something, but when passion turns into obsession that's when it becomes bad and unhealthy not only for you but the people around you.
From adorable to straight up sexy is insane, a lot of times even if the stories are decent the smut either feels forced or out of place, but you can feel the love they have for each other. Like bruh I want to feel unconditional love like that too!
People need to know that even if he isn't a teenager (although I'm 90% sure he is) he can still be groomed. Those who are in any way, shape, or form vulnerable can be groomed. Someone who is shy, someone who just recently lost something major to them (like a person or a pet or their house etc etc), someone who has mental disorders/illnesses, someone who has physical disorders/illnesses, someone who is going through a tough time, someone who has a hard time opening up to others, old people and so on and so forth.
Anybody could be groomed depending on the situation; usually the groomers tend to be very charismatic people, people with higher positions/more money, people with hidden motives. Grooming can be online, it's not just an in person thing. Usually the groomer is manipulative, grooming is such a slow and gradual process that the groomed individual doesn't fully understand what happened to them until after everything. It is 10x easier to identify when someone is being groomed from an outside perspective than it is for the individual being groomed, and that is because it's being directed towards them. Most of the time the groomers try to isolate the groomed individual or make them dependent on them in some shape or form.
I bring this up because what is happening right now is 100% grooming, Masaki has given a bad vibe from the get-go. He's actually scary, not only did he force himself into Suguru's life but he's also manipulating Suguru's emotions so drastically that it's causing him to get angry and confused. A lot of the time groomed individuals end up feeling angry, confused, and panicky randomly and they usually don't understand why. It's so sad, it makes me feel so empathetic towards Suguru. The only reason I'm really reading this is for him, as I want to see where he ends up. I hope he's happy at the very least.
Either there's going to be angst or we're all so traumatized from BL that we're constantly on edge. I do feel like they both have secrets (the teacher gives me more sketchy vibes than Guwon for some reason) but idk... I feel like if there's angst it's not going to be with each other but it'll have to do with their pasts haunting them. IDK MAN
I LOVE THAT IT'S CANON THAT HE HAS A HUGE DICK He's such a dumbass I love him
I knew from the get-go that Maximo was obsessed... But that chapter where he was throwing a hissy fit in his room and was like "he's mine" freaked me tf out, usually I'm like "oh ofc they're like this" but based on the little hints here and there of the past life it made my skin crawl.
Sex scenes are going to be fucking wild, I can't wait
I read this all at once, this is so insanely good. You can't help but love the MC
I feel like this could go one of three ways; It's going to be extremely silly, it's going to become super morbid/angsty, or it's going to be kinda chill and a relaxing read... which I guess you can say is what happens with almost every comic but I feel like this will be extreme in terms of which direction it'll go. I mean, the ML climbed out of the ground/rubble... He's def not human, that much is 100% certain. He's either a "zombie" or some "otherworldy being", he knew a LITTLE about humanity but not enough to be able to pass elementary school. He's both a mixture of innocence and charm at the same time, you could say he's innocent in the way he's so straightforward and doesn't seem to hold sketchy intentions.
Also can I just say that I've been loving seeing more and more characters with cheek dimples? LIKE BRUH I LOVE CHEEK DIMPLES SO MUCH that I have 3+ OC's with them bruh
Being cheated on really changes a person. Honestly a lot of what Odette is going through is what my mom has gone through. Even after 26, almost 27 years she still is traumatized by the asshole who cheated on her. I wonder how Odette is going to overcome the struggles of consistent self doubt and how things will end for them.
I wish this was more developed, the art is really pretty and so are the characters... But the plot falls slightly flat for me. They have motive and a decent plot, but I think the pacing and execution is what needed more work. I still enjoy this and definitely want to see it finished, but their feelings and their relationship is feeling pretty superficial.... Then again it's not finished yet and idk how many more chapters there will be so this could change!
FUCK i should've let it go longer, this is so good I love this so much so far. If I wasn't in the situation I am right now I'd be throwing my money at the author so hardcore.
I'm loving both characters, they both have fun appearances as well as fun personalities. I feel like the MC HAS to have his name, but it's in such an obscure place that even the parents didn't see it. Like under his eyelid, in his foreskin, under the taint so on so forth LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
