I def think Eishin still has his memories, either he doesn't want to keep seeing Aesis die or he thinks staying away will prevent their early deaths. But at the beginning, Aesis almost died anyway... So if it's because of the second reason, then it wouldn't work. If it's the first, it's understandable. Watching your loved one die over and over and over has got to be one of THE worst things a person can go through.
If he actually has memory loss but he can't control how much he cares about Aesis, that'd be kind of cute still. But it'd be tragic in the way that only Aesis remembers the good and the bad. This chapter, when he was like "seems like you had fun" or whatever it was he seems a bit surprised? Like "we suffered so much but you still look back at it fondly?" sort of surprise.
I def think Zigril is giving Kay a false sense of security. Acting like he's not interested after already raping him so bad that they had to heal him. From what's insinuated, Zigril hasn't really gone THAT far after forcing someone with him. He'd force them to have sex with him for maybe a few hours and then he'd be done, but with Kay it was ALL night long to the point even the mage was flabbergasted and had to force him to stop.
From what we know of Zigril so far, he's cunning and will do whatever he can to get what he wants. Creating a false sense of security while they are having to travel together for a little bit so that he can take advantage of Kay is not something I'd put past him.
I feel bad for Kay, I really do. From what I can tell, he's gullible. When he'd date and the girls would try to make him jealous by saying they had fallen for someone else, he took them seriously and let them go. The captain of where he's assigned to is a asshole who goes after the women he's been with then acts like he's the victim when the women say they still love Kay, to the point Kay has to hide from him when he gets broken up with. What really showcases how gullible he is was when Zigril acted like he had Dissociative Identity Disorder and had multiple personalities that he can't control, and when Kay was believing it he was like "are you serious? You dumb bitch" like the asshole he is.
Do I think they're both cruel in their own right? Yes. Do I think the uke is worse because he'd go around cheating if it'd get a rise out of his boyfriend? Yes. Do I think they're perfect for each other? Absolutely. Only they can handle each other, a manipulative son-of-a-bitch and a possessive nutcase who wants to do a lover's suicide.
They're both addicted to the love-hate feeling they get from being with each other, the extreme highs and lows is what causes people to stay in these sort of relationships to begin with. I do love how unlike what we usually see, it's both people who are a bit wack. When we see this IRL or in stories, it's one person who is out there and one person who is more grounded. Both could be mentally unstable, but one usually needs to be monitored and placed under strict therapy.
This was interesting to say the least, the art is gorgeous and it wasn't as much smut as these "oneshots" tend to be. It was fun to read for sure, and honestly I'd like to see how they end up (although we can assume it'd end in both of them dying).

Maybe it's because both of my siblings are half siblings.... but what does it matter??? Whether they're half siblings, adopted, step-siblings they're still brothers who care about one another. If the uncle has been taking those photos, and from what I've seen some of those photos are a bit on the more raunchy side, don't you think people would be questioning it? Aren't they freaky? You're taking photos like that of your nephew, they all look nude or half nude, plus the posing on the bed and all of that is freaky. The fact that he took these photos like a trophy and flaunted them for the world to see is disturbing beyond belief, I can't believe only until people saw that the MC is a sub that they were questioning things. Seeing the ending, I think the problem come from the author not recognizing what they wrote as rape. And/or their misconception that such an act can be carried out of love.

It does for the uncle, but not how society and the main characters react to it. His epilogue is "he went to do a little bit a therapy so all is fine" when the bare minimum would have been MC going no contact. MC is the one that should need therapy. The uncle need a jail cell.
