This comic is just so wholesome, it’s one of THE CUTEST a things I have ever read. It’s a breath of fresh air!

If you want a comic that is a roller coaster of emotions, this one is for you. A psychological wreck that causes you to sympathize with characters, hate them, then sympathize with them again it’s hard for me to not love this comic. It includes rape, multiple times. It also includes manipulation as well as kidnapping. If these things freak you out, or make you even a little uncomfortable, this is not the comic for you. Things get intense. But if you enjoy a dark comic with an unexpected twist, then you’d love this comic too.

A lot of people get frustrated at one point or another, especially at Kyung-Soo. One thing you need to know about trauma and manipulation is that the person makes you think you NEED them, and that if you’re not with them something horrible is going to happen. If you pay attention to people who are in abusive relationships, you’ll see that even if they leave, something convinces them to get aback with the person. Not all situations are like that, but more often than not the person will keep giving the other “chances”. It is a sad but painful reality with these type of situations. Mental health does not always have rhyme or reason to it, but your brain could make you think of horrible things that may or may not happen. PTSD is categorized as an anxiety disorder, so think of anxiety but apply it to specific situations and crank that panic attack at max volume. Add avoiding certain situations and possible auditory or visual hallucinations and bam you have a general idea of PTSD.

(Possible spoilers)

Now.... Yule is an asshole, he was abusive, he did horrible things, but in the end Yule went through psychological help because he obsessed and loved Kyung-soo in a unhealthy manner. Why did Kyung-Soo get back with him, seeing Yule doing his best, but still freaking out and locking himself away from him? He went back to Yule, only to stage a protest against him? Why get back together with him in the first place? Especially knowing how his family is too? Kyung-Soo is stuck in the past, which is understandable considering how PTSD works, but why move in if he wasn’t ready for it?

Personally, my two most hated characters are the sister and brother. They manipulated both Yule and Kyung-Soo. ESPECIALLY that sister like what the hell. The brother was traumatized by Yule killing their mom, understandable, but still an abusive ass. But the sister is a whole different level of messed up. Usually I give chicks slack and don’t hate them with a burning passion, but she knew what was going on and pretended to be on Kyung-Soo’s side but was really trying to save her own hide. They knew from a young age how fucked up Yule was, but instead of getting him help they decided to let him run wild. What a messed up family...

But I have to say, even though this is HARD to reread, it is well executed because of the rollercoaster of emotions it puts you in. I love this author, and I love their art style. I am glad I ended up reading it because it really kept my attention. I liked messed up comics, they add a sense of realism even if it is a bit far fetched, more so than a lot of other comics I’ve read even those are great too.

I don’t mind the doctor x brother arc or whatever. I don’t like how the doctor forced the brother with that stuff, but there was a bit of alpha pride stuff going on between the two so that was fun to see. but I am SOOOOO excited for the main couple, they are so cute. I keep rereading their part and waiting for them to come back. Doyun was in denial about his feelings at first, but since he opened up they are going to be extra cute, I’m SO already! Taehan is an absolute sweetheart, it’s as if they were made for each other.

Yoooo seriously though how was Noah supposed to know he’d be cornered by red haired sicko in the bathroom... out of all places. He leaves for a MINUTE and shit goes down the drain. Like poor Noah, he became such a target because of being unable to die. Obviously with the end of this chapter, everything WAS too much and a shred of kindness was so foreign that it eventually made him cry. Poor baby

I feel as if Iwashiro has some sort of anxiety of sorts, maybe social anxiety. He tends to be pretty numb until he opens up more to people, and from the get go obviously is intrigued by Seki.
I feel as if Seki isn’t used to Iwashiro’s type? A rule follower who has a few quirks, he’s used to the guys who act out and do whatever. I feel as if Seki feels more comfortable with Iwashiro because of how kid he is to Seki. Now... does Seki get weirded out or uncomfortable? Yes, but at the same time he likes Iwashiro and is also intrigued by him, almost coaxed by Iwashiro in a way.
I’m excited to see what will happen from here. My predictions is that it’s going to be a little bumpy, but they’re going to be super cute together.

This is probably one of the best manga out there. It has everything: trauma, loss, passion, character development, struggles, as well as success. It feels real at times and can hit home. The manga itself is very hear wrenching, and if you watch the anime there’s no way you wouldn’t cry. It’s almost a given. Sometimes things can be frustrating, especially with how Aki treats Haruki. Flirting on and off then putting him in the friend zone, like c’mon.
I do think Mafuyu is in love with Urnoyama... but it has only been a year since his death, if not a little over a year. When you lose a loved one, it takes forever to come back.... now you have to imagine being the FORST PERSON to find out AND walk in on him dead. The person you love. Even if you said something stupid, and something that maybe you shouldn’t have said, you’d have never thought it would have gotten this far. Mafuyu was barely keeping it together, it’s gonna take him a bit but I know Uenoyama is eager to grow their relationship together.
