Paulo is a thousand year old vampire. He has seen things come and go, Gabriel is a cute toy to him to help pass time by. He is infatuated with Gabriel, not because he loves him, but because he wants to control him.
He knows Gabriel loves Saliou, he knew that Gabriel had feelings for someone else and was gay right when they met. Maybe because of his vampiric powers idfk. He knows how head strong Gabriel is, but also weak willed. It makes it fun for him to mess around with.
Take note, Paulo said that with a flick of the wrist he could make Gabriel writhe in lust for him right then and there, instilling fear into Gabriel’s mind.
Think of it with a kid and a doll. It is the prettiest and coolest doll they could find. As they get older, the doll loses its value.
So? Is that supposed to make me like him? I hate him even more. He's the most cancerous in thos fckn book. I despise him with a burning passion and with every being in my body. He's just dehumanized the poor man.
I dunno.. . Yes, there's a possibility that Gabriel is just for passing time but i dont think his goal is to control him. He might have been urged to take Gabriel because he might have lost someone dear to him that resembles Gabriel ( that's just one possibility tho) About that Flick thing, if his goal was to get Gabriel then he would've done it by then but he didn't. Why? Maybe because he want to make Gabriel slowly fall for him and when that happens he could turn gabriel into a vampire so they could live forever. And If that happens then we can conclude that Gabriel is not just for passing time. He might have really liked Gabriel.
Take note, yes there were alot of times Paulo tried scaring Gabriel but never did he ever tried to hurt him physically ( well aside from sex)
P. S I know its weird why im taking the side of Paulo but honestly I kinda think they'll end up together. I know what you're thinking, Gabriel

I’ve reread this comic numerous times since posting my comment and I have definitely changed my views. I couldn’t care what happens either way, it’d be interesting to see what happens. Honestly, if he falls for sailou it’d be a bit boring on the point that it’s EXPECTED. Gabriel is the white wolf, sailou is the black wolf. It’s common sense for the wolf’s to end up together.
But what if the white wolf, Gabriel, falls for a vampire? What if Paulo, even upon learning he’s the white wolf, lives him? Maybe even more than before, especially since he knows he can’t completely control him?
What if he loved the last white wolf that hasn’t appeared in such a long time? What if they were reincarnations of the past wolfs? What if they were lovers in Gabriel’s past life? I mean Paulo has been alive for so long I’m not denying the possibility.
I think Paulo is maybe testing Gabriel’s limits. I think it’s HORRIBLE what he’s done to Gabriel in the meantime, but at the same time the more I see Paulo the more unstable and emotional he seems to me. He’s so fucking desperate, it makes me almost pity him.
Sailou is awesome, yes. But honestly? I don’t think he likes Gabriel. I have a feeling.... I mean, Gabriel has waited YEARS for Sailou, and was so eager to see him. I don’t think Sailou feels the same way...
I think if the unexpected happens, that would be very exciting and fun. A lot of people would be pissed, for some reason this comic brings the worst out of people. But I think people should keep and open mind and enjoy the story, you know? I mean sometimes I have a hard time reading it, especially when Paulo and Gabriel just recently had sex was brutal for me, but I’m still curious if they’ll get together.

Like, yeah they had sex.... but sailou was not hesitant on leaving behind Gabriel. I feel as if it was Paulo, he’d do everything he could to have EVERYTHING he wanted.
I think Paulo obsessiveness with obtaining Gabriel can be endearing. I think first loves are overrated. The first love in a lot of stories cases is a tragic and heart wrenching love, but it doesn’t have to end there. I am honestly hoping that this is quite a long webcomic, I feel as if they could do so many things with it.

Also I used to like Jennifer, but home dog can’t read the room. There’s some serious tension but he be thirsty, it’s clouding his vision. One look at Chang and he looks shady, but he sees a good looking dude and it flies over his head. Smh disappointed Jen, very disappointed.
Noah is on edge. I think he DOESN’T want something to happen to the doc, but those guys have a hold on Noah so he is forced to go along with it. He can’t be seen with the doc, but he tells him where to go and gives him some advice. Obviously Noah likes the doc, and the mayor is hella suspicious.
I just feel bad for them, it feels like things are out of their control.
Man ugh I can’t get over this manga it’s just soooo good. This could be so cool animated omfg, it’s be so freaky but gorgeous at the same time. Asato is beautiful and delicate, but so head strong.
At one point, due to the fact that the author started posting drawings of the two main characters on twitter suddenly I had hope that they were picking it up again.
But after recent tweets, I am VERY assure that 35 is it. They suffer MAJOR a depression and lack self confidence. I don’t know if she has any support from friends or family at home with her art.
If you are an artist, then you know how hard it is suffering from art block as well as depression and anxiety. Nothing looks good, no matter if it looks like the best drawing ever. If you yourself can’t convinced yourself it’s good, then nothing else will. She needs someone who can help her climb out of that hole she dug herself in, but until then I don’t think she’ll be drawing much at all.
The story and art of this manhua is beautiful, but it definitely brought the author stress. She is obviously always thinking about it with what she posts, but it’s weighing her down.
As a fan, I wish she was just on extended absence from the comic so that it gives her time to calm her nerves and pick things back up, as a fellow artist I just want her to be happy and feel satisfied with her art.
