Bro you'd think the ML, being a king for so long, would've matured and grow either more conniving or charismatic.... Instead he's just a dumbass who can't control his emotions. He's not even good at trying to convince the MC to stay, he's even creeping out his own childhood friend.
But honestly, it IS great writing. The ML is a piece of shit, maybe eventually he'll grow because of desperation... Or he'll sink so low that he'll be even more than irredeemable. The MC is so likable and such a great character, this author knows what they're doing for sure. I'm thrilled that the MC is so unwilling to budge and puts his foot down, he probably feels like he has nothing to lose. He knows what he wants to do, and after losing his family he feels as if nothing else can prevent him from helping others.
Here I thought she was gay and bullied for it, so she didn't want them to go through the same treatment........ But it's because she was neglected???? How do the two intertwine? She could've just said "I hate gay people" but instead she made this about herself. Are we sure she isn't prepubescent and actually a college student? LMAO
I think Hwayoung testing Gyuwon constantly is fucking tiring. Come on, by now he should at least be halfway confident in his relationship. To be testing Gyuwon constantly to see if he'd go with someone else or just stay with him is scummy, I know it's a territorial thing and it's him trying to show Gyuwon off and be like "He's mine and only mine, back off." but still, feels gross.
Lmao I just wrote a mini paragraph on this exact thing, but ill shorten it: i think hwayoung might be looking at this party from a different angle. I don't think it's ultimately a test for gyuwon, but rather, a method of showing the other doms they couldn't handle him (Gyuwon) as a sub. And if i wanna get even bolder, Hwayoung will probably end up upstaging the other doms in a "let me show you how its done" way. But this is just my prediction, and it's based off of very little details and general characterization (▰˘◡˘▰)
I get it, I really do. Losing the people you love and consider family is one of the worst things we as humans can go through. ESPECIALLY since he seemed to be the type of person who REALLY cared about them, but damn man if he was so powerful couldn't he have prevented this? Couldn't the MC have prevented this if he was so powerful? Just a flick of the wrist and the needles could've taken out that bitch. Like bruh LMAO but I see how they're building up the story, I guess the MC is going to be the next dragon hunter?
The dragon did not really care about them. As the snake has stated, young dragons start neutral but they can be good or evil depending on how they live their lives. They are basically sociopaths.
The author is basically retconing what the dragon has already done in the past. It was already leaning evil. He surrounded himself with lackeys that had evil tendencies too. Yes he cared about them but it was twisted and selfish.
A lot of commenters seem to be siding with the dragon and i'm confused why. The girl dying was the dragon's fault. If it was that powerful, the dragon could have searched for a cure for her instead of trying to dominate the martial arts world.
Also why blame the MC for the girl's death? The needles can't harm that lady because she is powerful enough to counter it. The swordsman protecting the girl was too arrogant and thought lowly of the MC cause he was from the Tang clan.
Yi Zaha being like "I'm not strong enough for the Demonic faction leader :/" While simultaneously pretending to be weaker than he is in order to hide his bloodlust is insane. I love this so much LMAO
