Is it just me or has the art's quality gone down? Also I feel like this isn't as good as it used to be ┗( T﹏T )┛
Not really, the art was already questionable from the beginning but somehow the sloppiness that was in a few panels at the start of the series now spans far more panels as if less effort is put in. The story isn't really great and you're right about that, it had quite the potential at the start but it turned out to be not original or intriguing at all. We've been basically hooked and now we're stuck reading just to see the end of it. Overall pretty mid.
Yeah, pretty much, I feel like I'm gonna wait for it to finish and then just go read the end, because it's taking so long and I'm a bit fed up, because nothing new or original is happening...
I mean, the brother betrayal thing, more than 100 chapters to find out it was him that betrayed him when it was so freaking obvious, and then it was such a short bit, his brother's reasons weren't even that original or it wasn't even emotional, I was just disappointed...
And the MC is overpowered, but not overpowered enough, I mean there isn't a balance, he's so freaking cocky yet he hasn't had any bad luck and just keeps winning, when he struggles a bit, it's not realistic struggle, like it doesn't seem like he's really struggling... But his "overpoweredness" isn't also enough to make his oponent despair, and if it is, then the artist is just not good at showing it. Overpowered manga and manhwas can be really good, but it's a difficult thing to accomplish.
I think Youngest Son of the Swordmaster started arround the same time as this one, or at least I started reading them at kind of the same time, and it's so much better than this, I mean I know the art of Youngest Son of the Swordmaster is much better, but that's not what I'm comparing, I'm comparing the story, the characters' growth, how they approached the betrayal theme and how they have such a good balance between beeing overpowered, but still having growth and showing actual struggle and effort into becoming even stronger. (Sorry I really love Youngest Son of the Swordmaster xD) They approach similar topics or ideas, but they are like night and moon in quality of everything xD
No worries some people might not know it and find it a useful suggestion. I am already reading that and it is miles away from this one§: better story, better art, what the heck, even the chapters which contains side story are infinitely more interesting than this one which seems a collection of the most boring tropes about this kind of Manhwa. Really a pity because I expected far better, and now I am disillusioned.

I don't get why people are complaining so much about the art, it's not that bad? The character's still look like themselves, the story is so good, why so much hate...
