I just realized that seoin, even though he hated Jaewon with his entire soul, Jaewon continues to live within him. Present Seoin parallels Jaewon not only in looks (the blonde hair) but in action too (sex maniac, doing drugs, pushy, etc). So, Seoin is continuing to let Jaewon take control of his life even tho he's dead. I'm not sure if to say Seoin is imitating him but it's definitely a manifestation from trauma. I have a feeling that once ML begins to heal from the trauma inflicted by Jaewon, he will go back to his old self (ofc with the black hair too).

We get one very well written manwha that also is breaking the stereotype of the smaller being the bottom and the bigger being the top but people have to come over and spread their switch nonsense. Like obviously it would be awesome to have more stories with couples who switch and there are people who just genuinely want it no matter the couple or story but most people are hoping for switch because they're dissatisfied with the positions...

I love Nora so much as ML but in a way it's tragic that Jeremy never got a slight chance. Even if they aren't related in the slightest and are both just 2 yrs apart and even if Jeremy never saw her as a mom, she fully sees him as a son plus he will forever be titled as 'son'. I absolutely love Jeremy and I'm happy Jeremy has his happy ending too
Also, I understand the wishing for no romance cause I thought the same at first but as I continued to read I realized that this story is a story of love. The different kinds of love to be exact. Familiar, friends, and romance, even if the love is ugly and twisted.
That's how I personally saw it anyways
But I ended up enjoying the romance after that realization.

I agree, I don't usually like when step siblings or in this step son and mom. I really dislike story then but the way that they written the story is really nice.
Like yea Jeremy does love her romantically but he doesn't want to tell her bc he loves her. He knows how Shuri sees him and don't want her to be sad plus je doesn't want to Shuris good name gets darted bc of his feelings and that's kinda sad.
But from spoilers I saw Jeremy will find someone that makes him happy and he will see Shuri as a idk man a mom, sister, friend or beat friend and I'm absolutely happy for him to get over something so hard. I'm sure it would be hard to get over someone you live with and that is nice like Shuri( ̄∇ ̄")
When I first started this, I had absolutely no expectations because I assumed it would be another toxic shitty BL (I like toxic BL's btw) and I wasn't entirely wrong - -;;; but the backstory blew me away. This went from just another toxic story to one of my favs in the span of a few chapters. I enjoy the fact that after reading the backstory, now when you go back to read S1, most of the puzzle pieces just fit together and almost everything makes sense. From their actions, behaviors, and even words. We still need MC's side of the story to complete the puzzle but the backstory really made this go from a regular toxic BL to a story with amazingly complex characters. I absolutely love Seoin and although the backstory doesn't justify his shit behavior in present, it explains his character and actions. Plus, the art is just absolutely beautiful
