It's the human capital theory and it is proven to reduce poverty. Plus he is giving poor students a way out. The school provides lunch so less students have to starve and they can invest in their future by gaining skills that can be implemented when they start working as an adult. The businesses get slightly cheaper labor and more efficient interns and the students are able to attend school and don't have to worry about where to get their meal for the day. It sounds like a good plan to me. He isn't charging them an arm and a leg to go to school. They already have the noble's academies which do that which is why he's making an affordable school for commoners.

Here’s the thing, I agree with you here and there are many short term benefits but if we look at it in the long term the system purloined here only perpetuates inequality. He even states so himself, his goal in making this school is not to educate lower classes so they can take their human capital and use it to better themselves and their community but to monopolize that capital for his own businesses. In that way even though he was the one to “promote” them to higher opportunities he (and the upper classes in general) are still the ones who will receive the lions share of anything earned. I agree with you that it does allow for more opportunities in the short term but over time, as the amount of money made grows with the new labor force created we will see that the lions share of the money still goes to the upperclass and really the financial gap between the upper and lower classes ( and even a theoretical middle class) only grows.
A possible response is that giving them human capital allows them to create their own businesses and grow there own capital but my response would be that those businesses would be in competition with all of what the upper classes already have and especially if it’s profitable those who already have power will seek to either buy up the business or create a competing one, probably with better operations because they can invest more into it at the start. Of course maybe a few of the businesses started would prosper but it’d probably very an incredible low percent and I am speaking in broad terms.
So yeah in conclusion I do think education under the system of capitalism is exploitative.

I get what you're saying and it does exploit the lower class but there is no denying that the human capital theory reduces poverty. It also introduces them to possible jobs to continue working at in the future (and ensures that they are fed and make enough money so they can even have a future) so I think the benefits are more long-term. As you stated, it even gives the lower-class a chance to open a business and while the majority fail, some do succeed which is a great improvement to before they were educated. Without it, the poor would just stay poor and the gap would increase. Human capital is a necessity to reducing poverty. I'm saying this as someone who has depended on school lunches in the past as a form of my daily nutrition and have seen the difference that free schooling has on reducing the burden of lower class families. I actually really like Won a lot. Normally I don't like the friends to lovers tropes, especially the childhood friend ones (which is why I'm dreading Jerry's appearance I hope he's not a new ML), but I really really like Won and Bunny's dynamic it doesn't feel too sibling-y at any point like most friends to lovers pairings are. I like how they feel comfortable with each other and tease each other. Banter is always fun. Just saying that misdiagnosis is common enough because I've seen some comments talking about how they won't read this because of the misdiagnosis. As someone with a chronic illness that is a disability, I've seen lots of doctors and a lot of them are shit ngl. They'll use scare tactics on you (one of my old doctors did and then passed me off saying he can't treat me anymore and the next doctors at the specialist center for my disease said I wouldn't lose my intestines like my other doctor threatened), they'll misinform you, not tell you about something (I wasn't told about having a hiatal hernia after having an endoscopy by that same doctor who used scare tactics), diagnose you with the wrong thing or simply dismiss your concerns and say it's nothing when it is something (once got sent home from the ER because they didn't test my urine sample and I apparently had a UTI. Came back 3 days later with a bad fever and a kidney infection thanks to that) or they won't listen to you and will try and diagnose you with something that you don't even have (an ER doctor gave me a transvaginal ultrasound and other stuff when I told him it was my appendix but no he didn't wanna listen and kept telling me it was most likely an ovary getting twisted. Only after hours of tests and waiting did he realize that I needed an emergency appendectomy like I was fucking telling him I needed). Lots of doctors make mistakes and lots are shitheads.

I dont even know what my father is having. They say he has end of stage kidney failure and always extend his operations to extort more funds from us. We are already struggling.
My father has no money to get dialysis as well. So he hasn't been having dialysis treatments for a long time only taking traditional medicine which I didnt like and I cried over that a lot. But I heard from ny family he is still alive and at home. So I don't know. Honestly. I am conflicted. I was grieving for more than 6 months over the many misdiagnosis and scare tactics they use to give you hope and then take it away and them repeat just to such as much money as they possibly can.

The thing is that is our state hospital and we still have to pay for all the expenses. He fell sick a year ago and couldn't work. He separated with my mom and has no source of income. Technically he has been unemployed ever since his health deteriorated.
That is the the most advanced low budget place we can afford. Their is a foreign hospital branch in our state and selling my entire house wouldn't cover half of his journey to recovery.
Our country's best location to diagnose his stage of renal failure is the only one in our capital city. We saved and send him there and they said something about his kidney can only perform about 20% of its function whilst the other one is completely gone. I have seen the worst state he was in and I am still shaking to this day every time my emotion has been manipulated and used. He has not recieved help from the government despite being unemployed for a long time due to his illness. Government promised to help those unemployed. And the doctors would prolong you from the operation as much as they can so you will pay the price for the beds and iv drips and medication and make you suffer as much as they can to get the money.
He was in need of life saving operations and they will delay and delay. I know there are more to that. But still I know monetary motives are there.
