Lmao I got you but in South Korea universities a HUGE DEAL they take very seriously the college entrance exams and they are super hard. And if you don't have money to pay for a college is harder. Is all about their studying and working culture. And dating usually is something very casual.
In any country is common to people to date in high school and break apart by the time they go to university. That thing about a love that the universe keeps apart is quite romantic in some novels and all, but in reality the heartbreak is not the end of the world.
