Ummm what???? Sir this ain't your fight. A grown ass man is bullying teenagers from behind the scenes and is putting LICE ON THEIR HAIR AND RUINING THEIR FACE WITH ACNE???? That's lame and pathetic. She can do it cuz she has past grievances and she's just giving back exactly what she got. Him doing this is giving me the ick BIG TIME. He has only been scoring negative points after the time skip happened, sigh.

What I was thinking!! I don't like any of the male characters in this manhwa to be honest I only tolerate the pink haired one. The black haired one lowkey pisses me off. Even if this was romance, i wish it was more complex and happens later tbh. Cause considering everything she'd been through... I just don't think it makes sense for her to already be enamored with him.

man. I was so happy they were both going to be of help to each other especially since he needed her solely because she was so smart and capable. But now it turns out that she's the only one relying on him one sidedly. It's not even a partners in crime type of thing anymore, as soon as the time skip happened, they're pretty much a couple already. It's so annoying, where's the slow burn goddamnit. He also doesn't need to be so perfect this would've been SO MUCH better if like it was suggested at the beginning he was in serious peril and since she is the only one who knows that from the future, she helps him and his dukedom out, repaying his gestures just like she did with diane's family. I thought that was where this was heading esp since it was insinuated that he died or atleast was in enough danger in his own life to never even appear on her path, but the last 15-20 chapters were SO dissappointing esp since this was so fucking good until then.
Also HATED how he insinuated that she was going to be duchess or atleast his fiance when she goes to the north. It's too fucking soon for that!!! It would've stayed on theme if she legitimately went there as an aide or advisor or something!! If she seriously beocmes his fiance when they get there, I'll probably drop this. Who the fuck is he to make that decision all on his own?? Even the showing up to this ball thing made her suspicious to the princess and he could've avoided that. The dress was enough. sighhh.
Why is it that every fucking time, the girl seems to be capable and really fucking cool and awesome, the guy has to be better than her??? Why can't they both struggle and help each other out?? This is why I liked pink hair better because he's also from a precarious status and he has to work really hard to come up in his life, they relate to that, they can help each other out, they'll be true partners. Well, it all turned to shit when he became more idiotic than grey eyes when he became protective and thought of MC as an innocent fragile girl.
Well now, we have mr. perfect over here who will only help and never ask for help because he can handle it on his own and he would want to protect her and not want to put her in danger. Goddamit. When the fuck am I going to get to read a single manhwa that isn't so disgustingly patriachal. It angers me even more when the manhwa is so well done in the beginning like this.

Yeah that’s yeah. It suck to read a strong female character only to watch her crumble.
If you don’t mind a slow start the manga ‘ From Far Away ‘ is really good, the FL has her own strengths and gets stronger he father the story goes, but it Does take a while and she Does depend on the ML in the beginning since it’s an Isekai into a new world and there’s a language barrier… hmm might not be your cup of tea…
… huh there’s a lot of stories like this… I can get why you’re frustrated.
Strong FL
‘ I Thought It Was a Common Isekai ‘

I will check that out for sure, thank you! It's not the FL relying on the ML that pisses me off but rather the ML not also relying on the FL. People relying on others is a natural thing, I'd probably get sick of reading independent badass FLs all the time. What I just simply don't get and what irks me to the core is why the ML can't also be depending on the FL and fumbling just like her. I think he can still be charming and competent even if he relies on her and it'll make for a much much better story.
Oh yeah, and I liked 'I thought it was a common isekai' for sure!! In the later chaps it kinda lost me because it got a little boring but I'll binge it once its over. The chaps until the kidnapping though, it was so great!! She uses sound logic and relies on her intellect while also being a normal human being and not a stone cold bitch caricature and the ML is an asshole in the beginning but an understandable one who reasonably changes his ways. He isn't created to be the perfect archetyle of all masculine and fantasy ideals a reader could want but rather still somewhat feels like a person. The manhwa wasn't perfect but it was pretty decent for sure!

Y'all what the fuck?? THEY SLIPPED IN CHAPPEL ROAN'S LYRICS IN BETWEEN DURING THAT WHOLE EXCHANCE I'M HOWLING!! I think I'm gonna call it off even if you call it love? I make no excuse or another stupid reason? knee deep into our budding friendship? How is it casual now??? ARE YOU FR RN???? I can't believe no one has noticied this so far.
I love that nyeonbi gave that poor girl a lesbian awakening and rocked her whole world without doing anything, this is awesome.

yo cmon what the hell? The chemistry really is not chemistrying. The confession scene after literal YEARS of angst and pining they've done is just her walking into the room and saying it casually? Like, even if that's the lowkey kind of vibe they want to go for, there's a way to make it look interesting. But here, it felt like it happened so monotonically, there's no highs and lows, no anticipation, so bland. This is supposed to be the grand payoff, why is it so lame??
The author is NOT cooking with this one ooof.

Not every story has to be tender yes, but there's definitely some level of skill that needs to be there in the storytelling part. Some objective component that makes even the most bland scene appealing for the reader. That's the thing that's lacking here. The scene isn't that bad, it's the way they're showing the scene that's piss poor.
Sorry, not attacking you here, I agree with you. I'm just adding to my original point.

I never found chemistry between them, but that is my perception. I do not find the characters and their personalities a match for each other. In fact, more like brother-sister in arms than anything.
I do not feel attacked ma dear, in fact I agree with you. This last "I'll marry him" looks like a convenient transaction because they do not hate each other, but there is no proper love either.
Do not bother, I love to find different opinions, sometimes people have good points over here (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ

I bawled my fucking eyes out. It just hits me SO hard when people find 'their' person or people in whatever form. The way they talked about each of them finding a safe space pr a 'home' for themselves, fuck, I want to cry again. I'm don't know if I'm ace but I've always related SO MUCH to the feelings of never fitting in with what society thinks romance or 'settling down' is for a woman. I relate so hard to yuriko and how she strongly feels that yearning. I feel like, love, even if you don't get the chance to experience it for yourself, is such a miracle and gift that it's SO beautiful even just for someone looking at it from outside or consuming it through media.
The words of momo-kun is definitely what I relate to and agree with the most. That romance isn't the end all be all and there's SO many more ways to live life and still be contented and fulfilled. That the world needs more of it. That pure, healthy romantic love is such a rare thing and a miracle that it really shouldn't be pushed as the default way to live. Makes it that much more disheartening for people who don't find it. People need people that love them to be around and need community, but that doesn't mean finding that perfect romantic partner and having kids with them, love and community can come in SO many different forms and it sucks that the idea of 'how things should be' has hindered so many people from choosing their own form of happiness.
The thing they said at the end about group living becoming an option even for older people, god, I love that and agree with it SO much. Queerplatonic relationships and friendships really just fucking warm my heart and are wayyyyy too underappreciated. It would probably serve humanity much better if deep friendships and platonic love was priotitised and the place romantic love has in society gets switched with this.
ohh HELL YEAH! She's basically acting like a white lotus OGFL but without the evilness underneath and I LOVE IT!!! I always did have a soft spot for the cunning OGFLs who only acted like that for survival, snakey bitches have all my heart.
