okay i just finished this in one read... but i have to say. the ending wasnt really satisfactory for me. i liked the beginning. i started reading because of the anime. but then after going past season one of the anime, it got worse and worse. the author decided to introduce new characters, thats not what got me. what got me was the way kou acted towards narumi's advances and how he distanced himself from futaba. that literaly almost killed me. AND LIKE ik so many poeple here hate touma, but i dont. he liked someone, and the perosn he liked didnt like him back. then he goes another step farther and decides to confess to her even after knowing that futaba still liked kou! that is something i could never do. i knew that mc wasnt really going to end up with touma, but it was still heartbreaking. even though mc tried to distance herself from kou, he didnt want that so in th eend, kou wanted mc too. what im saying is, waht touma did wasnt wrong. he just wanted his crush to like him back. but i think he shouldve given up, espically after him witnessing mc's reaction to kou and narumi. i feel like he coulve been a good friend to her. no but what makes people hate touma so much? he didnt hurt her, he didnt force her, he was a good boyfriend. he wasnt forceful about making mc stay with him. he just wanted to be loved.
what pissed me off the most was kou's action. sure im biased since i havent had a loved one pass, but the fact that he didnt deny narumi's advances even after futaba asked what they were literally pissed me off sm. i wanted to SLAY him like actually i was scremaing, hollering, dying. i dont understand his actions. im glad he decided to cut off narumi in the end, i think thats the only thing i liked about kou.
ii LOVEEE yuuri and shouko (?) and i love the fact that they both ended up with people who love them fully. anyway. 4/5 for me. i think it woulve been lower if it wasnt for the fact that i liked the anime sm
