This is a story from when i lived in a dorm, this happened 4 years ago, back then i was preparing for my university entry exam.
It was a mixed one, but they made sure that the first floor was for boys and for 4 study rooms, the second floor for girls. And the ground floor for refectoire , kitchen, library.
The place where we stayed at was in the city so there were buildings next to ours.
We were 24 boys and 24 girls, and each spacious room for 4 persons, we had our own bed and a personal space (a table to study and where we put our things).
To cut long story short, the first week seemed alright. After, i started hearing things downstair ( the study room) from time to time from 10 pm, it was as if someone were moving tables, and doing some cleaning, however, i didn't care about it.
Then, one night, one of my roomate, jumped on my bed and woke me up at 2 AM bc she said that she felt like the ghost was standing next to her. I was surprised and looked around but i didn't see anything. And so, i told her that we could sleep together if she is scared.
The next evening, she told the other roomates what she experienced and we decided to listen to the ghost together.
So, at 11 pm, it started writing thing on the black bord and do other stuffs. We made sure if we heard the same noises, and it was confirmed. Well, we couldn't hepl but to sleep.
The next morning, we decided to talk to other girls from another room if they could hear things at night too. It turned out, that even the boys heard strange things in the kitchen ( like someone cuting something ) and in the refectoire ( someone moving things around). And all those things happen at the same time, from 10 pm.
Then, we took decision to talk to the teachers but they ignored us, saying " ghost doesn't exist, it's all in yr mind".
So things kept repeating day after day, and averyone heard it and always talk or joke about it during breakfast.
1 month passed, and we decided to go downstair to look closely at it, it was 11: 30 pm, we were 6 girls. Before we went down, we could clearly hear like someone is cleaning again, but when we opened the door and looked around the study room, noone was there. And we were so freaked out that we all ran back as quick as we could. Still, when were in our room we heard it again.
We talked about our discovery to others, and they decided to exorcise it ( funny right! xD). But we talked about it to the teachers first anf they agreed. So we went into a church, asked them for a holy water and to land us a cross .
After that, we began to pray at 9 pm, singing evangelic song and spraying holy water to every corner of the house.
However, to our disappointement, it just came back the day after hhhh. So we just decided to not care about it bc it didn't harm us. And we even gave it a nickname " GILPIN".
Finaly, the neighbour told us that before the house was renovated, it was a dorm for religious woman or " sisters". And a girl died there and they just burried her in the yard. Apparently, it must be her spirit!

The plot is so childish (⊙…⊙ )
Well the fmc is kind of a pushover. How can you trust some stranger wholeheartedly in your first meeting and that stranger is your rival (well we know they aren't even worthy). Sometimes her actions are smart (not practically genius level but she can read the mood) but sometimes she acts completely dumb (￣∇￣"). These are some actions I want the author to clarify.
I reread this chapter , went back to the previous one and read it again. Still, i couldn't have enough.
The end of the synopsis made me laugh hhhh
