I think the reason Mori's traumatized with that light is because at the beginning, the one who took him away from his cave was those people with that round light on their faces. So, in my opinion, i think he's afraid those people might take him away again
I believe the reason mori is so traumatised with that light is because of the guards that rescued moti had those lights on their head, and they also treated mori roughly, because they initially thought he was an animal
