Story based from the novel Alpha Trauma which was the sequel to Omega Complex. I guess author loved working with the artist so much that they managed to work out that the same artist would do Alpha Trauma as well.

Some authors do have the power to choose. Especially if it says so in a contract. It really depends on what they agreed on with the publisher. Could be the author has a good publisher and they aim to have a sense of consistency in the manhwa as well.
