omg the MC needs to grow a pair(no, this is not me trying to downplay the effects of being continuously r@ped. I’m not talking about this specific incident just the story as a whole)

the author is putting this boy through all this traumatic shit...and for what? He literally adds nothing to the story. I swear this is more like Mujin and friends. This would’ve been the perfect moment for him to snap and just go berserk. It would be nice twist if Mujin was rubbing of on Choa and slowly he started to become more psychotic as the story progressed. He literally lost all his memories, it’s the perfect excuse to have him change personalities. He is literally surrounded by psychopathic murders. Why are we still doing the “uwu cute baby boy” act. mf had a knife in his hand and was told to stab people too...cmon on. As of rn Choa is so...plain?

Also the red head is so annoying, mf needs to mind his business. How are you gonna give the best design to the worst character? Like words cannot describe how much I hate this bitch

Mujin...he’s just Mujin. He’s carrying the story for me

ong mujin is the only reason why im reading this.

I love how the black-haired girl (Im bad with names) is different from your typical fantasy female character. It's so nice to see male and female characters having a relationship that isn't romantic and is just platonic. Also, her personality is so lovely, please no more shy girls who are too afraid to speak or fight. Ahh I love her so much

The MC was never that physically impressive so stfu about him being weak. He was just smart enough not to die, also that was like the trials, this is the real deal. But I do agree with some of these points, the mc looks so different. They could've kept the same basic design even though the art style changed, such as the brown hair.

have you seen the mc of solo leveling? look at ch1 and then the lastest chapter

With Reo's character, the author is trying to do 2 things,
1. Show that men being r@ped is not taken seriously( as can be seen with the country folk)
2. Show his lack of awareness and ignorance.
However, given the context of the story, it makes no fucking sense and it just makes the issue seem like a joke. This is a dark comedy, of course, there's going to be dark humor and satirical jokes HOWEVER r@pe is not funny. The joke the author is trying to make is almost like a gap moe. Reo is so naive dumb and "innocent" to the point that he ends up doing fucked up shit, his outward appearance and actions directly contrast his intent and thought process. This is supposed to be the joke. However, for the reader, it just ends up being insanely uncomfortable to see because of the fact we are getting these heavily drawn out and very detailed r@pe scenes. If the author wanted to get the idea of "opposite personality and appearance" across they should've done what they did with the flower crown.
Have Reo do nice gestures but it's taken the wrong way because of his appearance and the stigma around him. This would've made him much more likable and less of a fucking weirdo. Remember Impact> Intent. Just because reo doesn't mean any harm that doesn't make it any less traumatic. Idk his character makes me so uncomfortable and I feel like the same effect could've been reached without r@pe. Watching him is like seeing a psychopathic murderer defend their actions.

It’s Harada tbh, I was waiting for it from the first chapter. I definitely did skip most of that though.

    chesie May 24, 2021 12:52 am

I agree, harada really romanticizes rape in basically all her comics lol. I really love her art and her dark plots, but I think the darkest thing about all her comics is how much she normalizes uke falling in love with their rapist lol

Yeah it is a rather unfortunate trend in her manga but I do appreciate that she does at LEAST paint it as awful and twisted as it is.

It is just Harada. More like caricatures. They usually poke fun at things to get attention on the issues. There are so many of such in different types of magazines. This is in manga form. Some stories are over the top but main trend in their plots ars like this.

Nah, I think she's low key into the rape tbh, she fetishes it a lot. But I don't mind I still enjoy her work

I think the same thing. She draws it in too much detail for me to think otherwise. Also she has multiple doujinshi where the plot is rape, so... yeeeaahhh

crying in the club rn....this shit hurts

iipockyii May 23, 2021 4:08 am

The top is way too clingy. He already said he wanted no strings attached but yet here he is...

iipockyii May 23, 2021 12:11 am

If a characters only purpose in the story is for them to get r@ped. DONT FUCKING ADD THE CHARACTER. Holy shit I cannot stress this enough. The MC is literally there to do nothing. The author didn’t give him any personality or goals besides “love interest”. He has no backstory, interesting character relationships, goals, or anything for that matter. It’s sucks seeing a helpless individual in this situation. If you’re going to make 2/3 characters in the story crazy then just make all of them crazy.
It’s so jarring to see someone so normal in such a crazy world surrounded by such crazy people. The story has so much potential and has many opportunities to be interesting but the author keeps fumbling the bag. I want to see a sadistic doctor and his yandere lover not someone who can’t defend themselves. I hate reading stories and the only emotion I’m feeling is sorrow and pity for the main character.
I’m tired of seeing this weird romanticization of toxic relationships. Relationships are a two way street, therefore I wanna see both of them being toxic. I’m sorry for this rant but this is just a huge pet peeve I have. I like the white haired dude as a character, I think he’s interesting but sheesh. Everyone else gets on my nerves. Especially that red haired guy. He needs to stfu

    MonroeHipsPoisonLips May 23, 2021 12:23 am

yo the story would be better is choa was also crazy. I would read about a sadistic doctor and yandere lover all day

    parastye May 23, 2021 12:25 am

Couldn’t agree more it irritates me to see an uke like him surrounded by crazy people with no development. It dropped this story a long time ago time to take it off of my “now reading” list tired of seeing these updates.

iipockyii May 22, 2021 8:46 pm

IDK why yall are expecting romance, this is not a BL. BL literally stands for "boy love" this is just a psychological thriller that just so happens to have MLM relationships.

iipockyii May 22, 2021 4:35 pm

Woojin getting on my nerves...he should’ve just been the toxic ex

iipockyii May 22, 2021 3:47 am

The author needs their ass ate for this story. One of my biggest pet peeves is having overly toxic and aggressive male leads with shy and naive main characters. HOWEVER their dynamic works so well. Especially considering the theme of this story it makes sense that both characters would be y’know....crazy.
