I am adding or rather clarifying details about Taejoo's new bf. Yoon & Taejoo's first meeting in the restaurant was awful but I want to remind ppl Taejoo has no clue at all what Yoon had been through. He thought he just disappeared on him & was ready to lash out. At this part, the new bf KNOWS Yoon was in a coma & is alive, so when he tagged along with the reunion, he wanted to hurt Yoon on purpose. He knows the guy just woke up from coma but the first thing he wanna do is flaunt that he successfully nabbed Taejoo.
The emotional manipulation he orchestrated is just horrible. Taejoo was depressed & out of his damn mind looking for his greatest love & it made it easier to manipulate him. Like what I said in my previous topic, he's trying to convince himself he made the right decision. Adding to this is the new bf's constant whining & nagging about his insecurity. Honestly if Taejoo is the MC, a lot of ppl would be on his team. I hope he snaps out of his new bf's guilt tripping & MOVE ON. Yoon is his past & he needs to let go as well.
again Tea choose to bring his new bf to this meeting despite the asshole has nothing to do with this! and he still chooses to treat Yoon like he did and he did know he was in a coma, if he didn't how did he manage to blame him for being in a coma?!

he still chooses to end it in such a disgusting way even if he thought the guy disappear on him, he still should have listened to his side of the story!

'Taejoon' didn't honestly know Yoon was in a coma, he just learned that was the case during their first meeting after 5 years. You can read chapter 1 again to verify that.
And I think you're not getting my point. I've wrote in the topic I linked that I acknowledge Taejoon was an ass to Yoon. However you're too engrossed in Yoon's POV that you can't even consider Taejoon's perspective. In no way I am saying he's faultless, but his new bf is largely at fault with how things turned out.
Taejoon thought he raped the new bf, so he said he'll take responsibility. New bf didn't correct this, and went along with it because he's obsessed with Taejoon. New bf also knew Yoon was in a coma but he didn't tell Taejoon. So all the while Taejoon is distressed looking for Yoon, he just withheld the truth & pretended to comfort Taejoon. New bf also constantly whined about his insecurity towards Yoon so that Taejoon would take his side. Tae felt indebted to his new bf as well, thinking he helped him not knowing he was lied to. As a result, Tae felt he had to make it up to the new bf & agreed to stay with him.
Taejoon is a victim of emotional manipulation, & as a result, he treated Yoon harshly because he wanted to convince himself he made the right decision. Yes, it's his fault too but had that red haired guy told him the truth, I don't think things will happen like it did. I'm explaining Taejoon's psychosis, not glorifying him. So even though he hurt Yoon, I do not harbor ill feelings towards him. I just hope he'll move on. I don't even root for him to be the endgame, because he's not what Yoon needs. Yoon loves his career & Taejoon is against it in fear of Yoon's life - which makes them not compatible, imo.
it doesn't really matter if Tae was a victim or not though. he could still end things with Yoon in a much nicer way more human way! and now he wants Yoon back, don't expect me to care about it.
I don't care about Tae, again I'm not saying he is the worst, but what he did to Yoon is still too horrible and unforgivable for me! again for me, I just can't forgive him for blaming Yoon after finding out he WAS IN A FUCKING COMA!
he should fix himself first before even trying to get close to Yoon on anyone else. he is a mass, not his fault, but he should have to get rid of these toxic people in his life a long time before meeting with Yoon! right after he notice this person trying to force you to forget your past, but that Tae still needs to learn.

Things are not black & white. My main point was about the new bf's manipulation of Taejoo & how it affected things but you dislike Taejoo so much that you didn't even try to comprehend.
I said what matter is actions in the end of the day. what makes Tae actions until now better in any way, shape or form? other than him feel sorry for himself. was it anyone fault he is doing those stupid shit? no!
if he can't raise himself, there is no one that can! Yoon has much he got "help" he still knows when to cut it off and move himself up, and trust me Yoon had it harder and worse than Tae. so I won't feel pitty on Tae, he didn't do anything that deserves it.

With how the story is going, Yanzhi (MC) will never be Zongze's (ex) priority, & that makes them ill-fated. Zongze is completely tied down by his family & his desire for an impeccable reputation. Even when he gives in & hugged Yanzhi because of all his pent up emotions, he still answered "No I won't break up with my gf to save face." There's too much internalized homophobia in his system for their relationship to work. Not to mention he let 9 years pass without doing anything.
Pei Lei, on the other hand, is shown to be passionate, hardworking, & eager. Not too much about his background, but he is much much more promising than Zongze. Even Zongze acknowledges Pei Lei is a good catch that's why he doesn't want Yanzhi to choose Pei Lei to be the assistant. He's much more willing to choose the douche who has a reputation to fck around, & that says a lot. Zongze wanna gatekeep Yanzhi but doesn't want to work for it!

I could forgive that Erica broke up with Leo because she's afraid of loving him more deeply just to be dumped for Yulliana like in the novel, however based on the spoilers somewhere down the section, it seems the progression of the plot made her a btch. If she really could see that Leo wasn't the same Leo in the novel, & she still likes him enough to give him hope but goes for the friend anyway is pretty much an asshole move. The writing really made her a true villainess!

There’s nothing more in our relationship. We may meet yes but I’ll rather not meet. That’s my mindset. Although it may cause tension but if if your friend and ex truly love each other then SUPPORT THEM.
