it would've been much better if they didn't quickly move past the younger bro's reaction to his older brother's disappearance after telling him he doesn't need him. was it just rushed? idk, it just felt like it missed its point to hit hard on me as a reader who wanted to feel the heartbreak and despair of that scene. like i get it, 100%. he's still not crossed the line between killing another person. but man, i swear this just becomes one of those old annoying cliches where the villain they spared becomes even more of a threat later on. i vehemently hope not and that creep would be killed off by someone else somehow... but it's unlikely... ngl im atp where im kinda feeling like things are being dragged a lil bit. like i get it, growth, character development, plot progression and stuff — but like too much shit is going wrong, everyone else except mc is getting mogged, and yet mc is still not there in a more formidable strength — only barely beating new foes at every corner. idk ig im just being really impatient, like i just wish he'd be at his peak strength already, yknow?
that was actually kinda cute and somewhat wholesome, AND funny, no lies. they're such dorks. (≧∀≦)
