The first half are slice of life happy moments where the vampires (Aria and co) spend time with Ichika's big family (seems like holiday time).
After that, (a lil background story: there is a kinda holy sword that can be used to kill Aria, the sword is sealed also it is protected in a temple under a powerful barrier. Aria's enemies targeted that sword and they also gonna endanger Ichika because Ichika can pass the barrier and wield that sword.).. So, one of Aria's friend undergo painful burn to breach the barrier and get that sword so that the enemies won't get their hands on it. One of Aria's friend suggest to sever ties with Ichika to protect Ichika. Aria seems considering it.
