Really unique idea, but poorly executed

Characters don’t have much depth and ML is pretty bland. He’s hot, rich and possessive. That’s it. Ability and character-wise he doesn’t stand out, not much of help to FL either even though he should be a man of 2nd highest status in the empire. It’s just a pretty cliche and superficial story, nice read, but it leaves u a bit empty with the lack of fulfillment.
