I get that he got scared, but she didn’t even do anything??? She didn’t leave the mansion, all she did was have a private conversation in the garden. She wouldn’t even need to do that if he didn’t monitor her 24/7 in the first place (btw that’s pretty messed up sorry not sorry). A lot of you might like that and disagree with me, but personally, this is becoming frustrating to read. I really can’t stand someone being so controlling and toxic. Locking her up at first, sure it made sense due to danger, but not allowing her to even go to garden cause of what? It’s unreasonable. It would also be good for him if she learnt magic. I really can’t stand the red flag/damsel in distress tropes, I really hope it doesn’t become that. If someone read the novel can they spoil me when will this situation be resolved and if Leniel will get his shit together or not? And will FL put her foot down with him finally? I’m not really into one-sided toxicity, if someone gotta be crazy then let it be both of them. I know how much people like Leniel, cause he’s hot and whatnot, so idk if many people will agree with me, but that’s just my opinion on this.
