I’m considering reading it, but I wanna find out first a bit about the dynamics in this. Is ML a red flag? Or is he good? And if he is crazy then is FL also crazy or can at least handle him very well? Cause otherwise, for me that trope doesn’t work. I can’t stand weak-minded FL who fall into “damsel in distress” trope and just let the ML treat them however he likes (and are still somehow in love with him?). So I wanna know what kind of characters they are and what dynamic they have. Thank you in advance!!!
FL is a strong woman and the plot is very interesting! I’d say this a true drama, not the sappy type about love but has a good chunk of action as well! Not to spoil the story, so I’ll be brief in my explanations on the characters:
There are currently three main characters whom are considered the leads I believe.
1. Black haired dude who’s rich - very minimal tsundere, but has a “cool” personality, he’s mature, and is a pookie
2. Blonde who’s also rich - minimally goofy, flirtatious in a sense, but not overly cringey - chill, gives slight suspicious vibes, but still relatively a cool friend
3. FL who’s strong AF - badass, unknowingly goofy, minimally expressive but not cold, chill AF, smart,
Hard to say whether or not the characters are considered green flag or not since the Development of that can go up and down, but it’s not a bad thing! In this case it enriches the story and plotline. I recommend it!
Ohh yeah, I definitely would say that is slightly the case, but if you do consider reading the manhwa it’ll kinda clear the air as to why they came to be like that! Blonde is more subtle and isn’t outright yandere, and also fluctuates in terms of how he acts. To definitely describe is a sleek, cunning guy.
Black haired dude guilt tripped FL due to several factors that kind of lead up to that point to which influenced him and caused that action. But i definitely would say it’s due to the state of mind he was in too. Not to excuse it though, manipulation definitely is not something to contribute as a green flagged character
To be fair, they didn’t leave the barrier and they wouldn’t have to isolate themselves if he at the very least didn’t monitor her every move (that’s WAY too much, I don’t think they even go that far in prisons ). I know some people are into this, but personally I’m a bit frustrated with this arc. I don’t like red flag obsessive behavior, so I want them to just solve this and go back to being a cute married (not-yet-married) couple together. Please give FL power so she can have more freedom and so Leniel doesn’t have to constantly worry about her getting kidnapped
No, yeah, I know. But before I feel like he either wasn’t as controlling or she handled him better. That’s why the type of FL matters so much, if she’s weak-minded and easily manipulated then it’s just gonna be a toxic mess. And if she’s either just as crazy or strong and assertive enough to handle the guy then it’s a very fun trope
These people openly said it’s okay to spread a plague if u work on an antidote. They also openly supported treason and the person who committed it. Like, are they dumb? You not only show your connection to rebellion but publicly defend it? To the royal family’s face? Like, seriously, do they think at all???? I’m also so glad Klaus didn’t let them throw an innocent girl under the bus, the way they talked about it was disgusting. So proud of our ML, he showed them their place
Poor Thaddeus, but honestly, is he that surprised? Is it that hard to believe? He did the exact same thing to the katana girl, Thaddeus knows that, so is it really that shocking that Raphael would do the exact same orchestration to him? Let’s be honest, we all knew smth like that would be the case. I really hope Thaddeus will be okay tho I think the same guy killed his father so I’m a bit worried. They can’t just kill him after all of that… right???
I don’t really feel bad for her. She enabled that behavior. And it’s not that she went to the extents she did, because she wished for her child to be happy and healthy, but because she wanted him to meet her unrealistic expectations. She took him off meds because he didn’t achieve the academic results she wanted him to get. She projects onto him and cannot accept the fact that he just may be a normal child instead of the genius she tried to make him into. MC is right, that is also a form of child abuse. So no, this isn’t about her wanting a normal childhood for him, but about forcing him into delusional expectations she has. She may not be evil and I don’t support what he did to her, but I dont pity her either. Let’s also not forget how many children got hurt because of them both, and how she ruined at least one teacher’s career over nothing but her own delusions.
This is the most annoying “misunderstanding” tropes I’ve read in a while. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t hate the story, but this “misunderstanding” was just so unnecessarily drawn out. Playing mind games and then cry cause you played yourself? Dude cheated on you with… YOU. And it’s true, like who wouldn’t recognize their life-long friend cause of a mask and hood? This isn’t Superman universe. Just communicate properly for once idiots

Yess, i think the problem is not the "misunderstanding" but that EVERYTHING leads to a misunderstanding, and they stack and they never talk about them and it's annoying
So true. They honestly just keep making up their own problems and then cry that nothing gets solved
