it’s been awhile since i last reread this but i’m pretty sure even without his memories Fuji felt attracted to Kotou and that weirded him out a little so when he finally met his twin sister he thought ‘Oh that’s why I feel attracted to him..it’s because i liked his sister before and they look the same” and gaslighted himself into thinking he actually liked her instead of Kotou lol

It’s never clarified but it seemed more like an over attached sibling than romantic to me. Also I don’t think this is an official TL so take the wording with a grain of salt. However, some manga aren’t afraid to go all in so who knows.
