i never really like this mangakas works until i'm right in the exact middle and then suddenly i can't extricate myself and it becomes my entire world for a moment in time.
oh damn. i just wanted that to continue forever. it was a good ending for what it's worth but i just wanted it to continue and slowly become a story about everyone's lives. i want everyone to have their own stories that interweave. i loved all of the characters and that's rare for me. i wanted to see the party that happened when he got back and i want to see him continue on his journeys with tuoren. i want to see hulei and xianglin doing their duties as instructors and i want to see nasha's children. and though it would be sad for people to pass away, i would want to see what type of emperor huzhi would become. so yeah, great characters, great art (anybody notice some of hulei's expressions are just pure gold). 10 out of 10 would read again and afterwards i'll live in my imaginations creating and recreating their futures.
the beginning was stilted but the manga was okay i guess
