I love this shit
Do we think when he says nux dies from being "too angry" Owen actually means something like high blood pressure or something *sparked* by his anger, e.g. nux running off and getting in an accident or something.
Like I feel like he's being too serious for it to be the former but I think thats how it's gonna be misunderstood as by nux. Like asperier has lived through these things multiple times, so it'd make sense that he tried to find what the root of each death is and see what's the common factor.

I don't think yall realize how dangerous the front lines are lololol
If this is inspired by wwi (which v obvy is), the front lines were a death sentence. Just because she is a nurse def doesn't mean she's safe.
Heiner despite his hate and general abusive behavior, does care for Annette (obviously). We've already established he would rather stop seeing her then have her be dead (tho it took a couple tries lmao). Hence the divorce. So obviously he's gonna need to pull her from the front lines lolol
And of course he's surprised lolol he thought annette was with the family she was staying with.
I can't really understand why they cooled down the injuries ruby got from Cesar compared to the novel. At first I thought they just didn't want to have to keep drawing her with the blood, but izek got covered so idk
It's like they're trying to up more sympathy for the males (both izek because of injury and even Cesar because of that back story stuff) compared to ruby but that's just my bias
Rightttt, I remember reading the novel and crying my eyes out for ruby now it doesn’t feel the same bc it feels like they toned it down
exactly omg even ivan looks more injured than ruby who's supposed to be full of cuts and glass shards on her skin
