i have a very vague memory of a high school romance story where the female mc has a crush on a generic broodish black haired ml and a love letter was involved.

the letter was torn up and the 2nd love interest (lighter hair) had the most genius confession scene where he put together parts of the letter together to spell “i like you.”

been trying to find it forever, any help is appreciated!!!!!
