ive been itching to say this since the first few chapters but is Dongjae autistic? i’m at chap 33 rn and the “i have a disorder that makes it difficult for me to feel emotions” kinda solidified it for me cause it’s really part of the character, not just the typical “asshole playboy being an asshole playboy” a lot of authors do with semes. apart from that, his black & white thinking (e.g., associating smoking to being a bad person/student or a bully; violence = bad all the time; the whole attraction thing), difficulties understanding others (e.g., failing to empathize with Euntak on that museum date), lack of facial expressions, needing to be taught about which emotions are what, making unfiltered (and sometimes hurtful) remarks not realizing how it might sound to others, difficulties following social norms, etc. are leading me to believe he’s in the spectrum. im not one to armchair diagnose people and speculate with others cause that’s weird and invasive but he’s not a real person so my headcanon is he’s autistic lol. that also makes him less of an asshole because his behavior and statements were not to deliberately hurt Euntak; doesn’t make it less hurtful tho but it explains stuff at least.
i used to think they’re such a mismatched couple but Euntak being that expressive and animated might be a good thing for Dongjae since it rly seems he has trouble reading people. Euntak being that much of a crybaby is kinda worrying tho lol.
im more concerned about people’s reaction than what andrew presumably did in this chapter. “i like my men a little jealous and possessive” is an insane reaction to seeing someone harm themselves (presumably, we dont know yet) to get someone’s attention. idk if u guys are teens or BL logic has fried ur brains or smth.

Author herself confirmed on Twitter that he’s really bad at it. Author said she just wanted to show readers about how Andrew grew up not learning some basic life aspects and he really don’t know how to hammer nails till Luke shows him.

Well it’s possible to get injured when his focus is on completely something else. Man eyes were glued to Luke the whole time.
