I'm not super clutch-my-pearls type with yaoi cause let's be honest, it's everywhere. man oh. man did I dislike Seo-in and look at me now. my heart hurts for the guy, truly. there no excuse for the things he did but holy shit does he have an insane backstory that makes you understand how someone could get that fucked up.

the only person that can dictate whether someone is deserving of their forgiveness is the victim themselves. it might not make sense to the rest of us but if the victim feels like they have redeemed themselves, then they have

You do realize, right, that victims often carry the weight of their trauma into every decision including forgiveness? Abusers can manipulate even forgiveness. Victims forgiving doesn’t always mean the abuser deserves it.
Just like Seo-In forgiving his brother for making his life miserable wouldn't make sense, the same goes for Yeongwoon. After all, Seo-In quite literally took his life from him. This isn’t just about a broken heart.

these stories always have me so divided. as an age-gap-relationship-haver of about 9 years, im definitely of the opinion that so long as everyone is a consenting adult, fuck it. do what you want. BUT in real life? 16 years is insane. at 24 you're figuring out your life or settling into a new normal. at 40 you've got it all done and you're just prepping for fucking retirement. Lim should've stopped this before it ever even started tbh. it's too late now tho, might as well go all in

Disagree. People should mature over time and their priorities can and should change as they grow, but life isn't linear. Even if this story is a fantasy, I actually think it demonstrates well the way that people are just doing their best to muddle through. We're constantly working to try and figure out who we are and what we want to do and be, and that's okay.
