I mean if it started with force and abuse it’ll most likely get worse. But if it started with mutual agreement and consent it’s fine. They prob would just drop you if you don’t do their bidding and find someone else. Which is hurtful but not abuse cuz no one is forcing anyone. The terms were clear and both sides would have signed up for it knowingly.
That's exactly what I'm saying. Irl if something started in an abusive way just like in this story, it could also end up worse, even if they offer you the whole world. In a fictional story on the other hand, something that starts with abuse could magically turn into a happy ending because it's fiction, and fiction is not reality, but an unrealistic script inspired by it.
This is fictional, but it's even more than just asking for permission if we're being honest with ourselves. In real life people are far more greedy and complex in nature. Even if someone says one thing it'll always be another. Don't sell yourself for less because the more you let others get away with, the more they want to keep taking and push you even further. Leading to more abuse, and like the person above said, in some cases even death. This is a very black and white take imo but I get where ur coming from because if it was only just that, tbh it wouldn't sound that bad I guess
