I'm not out publicly so nothing like what you described has happened to me, but definitely online if I mention something or when I chat in certain groups fujos can be annoying to no end... mostly it's when they talk about uke/seme things or when they compare real life relationships to yaoi, or when they put yaoi tropes on real life. i'm good at drawing and my drawings gets my friends like but whenever i draw yaoi in class they scream and like "omygosh two guys! its freaking disgusting!" and imma like~ 凸(●￣(ｴ)￣●)凸 .
