I don’t think Taiga should’ve blamed his dad, I don’t think his grandma should’ve blamed Makihara, and I don’t think Makihara should’ve essentially blamed Taiga.
First and foremost, Makihara should’ve at least let Taiga know he was leaving. Taiga was freaked out (as one would expect) bc his boyfriend suddenly left without any explanation, and then Maki slaps him for voicing that stress (even if it was something extreme like leaving his family). That’s not right. You shoulda spoken to him first and given him time to process it.
Then Taiga turned that stress on his father (again, to be expected that he’s lashing out bc he wasn’t given a chance to talk about it and regulate his feelings), and he shouldn’t have. It’s not your dad’s fault that you feel powerless. Talk about those feelings with people who support you.
And finally, no matter her reasons, the grandma sucks and shouldn’t have secretly imposed her selfish, one-sided opinions on Maki. Maki isn’t the reason your family isn’t perfect or might face struggles in the future; you’re just taking out your own fears and feelings of inadequacy about your relationship with your family on a complete stranger, lady. Get over yourself, and openly talk about your concerns - don’t do shady shit behind everyone’s back.

I can’t handle it when one of the lead characters acts in a way that can be misunderstood (i.e., the FL assumed to be flirting with some other guy and the ML gets all depressed). Stop going around with Manuel everywhere all the time! Why are you tenderly caressing his face right after he confessed if you don’t have feelings for him? And then Jenesia and Kallian don’t even work out their misunderstanding and somehow they end up with being “finally friends”??!?! And I 100% think author-nim is trolling us and they didn’t actually kiss. Because why would they realize their feelings after taking the time to talk to each other? That would be reasonable, and we can’t have that! (╯°Д °)╯╧╧

…and I have a few take aways:
1. I’m tired of this lovesick little twink thinking he’s the center of Tsubaki’s universe. (╬ ̄皿 ̄)凸 I get that Nana’s receiving mixed signals because he can’t see Kabuto, but Tsubaki isn’t smiling at you, stupid, so stop drooling all over him! I’m worried that the author is going to drag this misunderstanding out for an excruciatingly long time. His sad eyes whenever he looks at Tsubaki makes me die of third-hand embarrassment every time he shows up. Ugh.
2. Tsubaki trying to figure out how he can touch Kabuto without breaking him is just sooooo cute…in a kind of terrifying way. ( ̄∇ ̄") And it’s heartbreaking that he realizes he feels this way and yet Kabuto doesn’t have a body…ack! My heart!
3. I really like Ibitsu. In a bizarre way, I think he’s the most normal of them all. His knowing smiles just send me.
4. That sensei is sus. Not just that he’s gonna try to hurt our precious Tsubaki, but my conspiracy theory is that he’s somehow involved in Kabuto’s accident…!

It’s one thing for a story to drag a little, but to drag out shitty manipulation from the evil wizard and the duke being SA’d over and over and Narcis just lying on the floor bleeding…I keep holding on, hoping the author will just resolve this and we can get to happy sexy times, but at this point, it’s not worth my mental health anymore.

I just started reading this, and I’m pausing at the beginning of ch. 100, because I can’t believe the king was just leaning casually against the door frame? It’s like they wanted his reaction to be intense, but when someone tries to strangle your wife, maybe *don't* stand there and, I dunno…physically intervene??? And why did her brother get to go home without being punished for attacking the queen of a neighboring country??? I don’t know if other people have already had this discussion but I’m fuuuuurious right now. (╯°Д °)╯╧╧

I found the raws…
The bartender and the art teacher continue their illicit relationship, and the bartender even proposes with the wedding ring the art teacher already wears. Σ( ̄□ ̄||)
Yet the art teacher seems to still have feelings for the owner, and the bartender walks in on them kissing. This is explained as testing his feelings. (“I need to make out with him one more time so I can make sure I actually like you.” (︶︿︶) The bartender and the art teacher have hot sex one more time, and the bartender says it’s the last: “you’re still married and I’m not good enough for you yet.” We even get some dialogue between the wife and the owner (she thinks her husband has restarted his relationship with the owner), which brings you back to the whole cheating thing…and ruins any remaining possible romance in this story. Even after the time skip, when the art teacher is divorced and the bartender comes to pick him up in a nice suit, it’s nothing but one giant ick. Super disappointed in the whole story, despite enjoying this author’s other works.
…who kinda gets the ick from the sister? It would be one thing if there was a legit romantic triangle, but this isn’t that interesting. Matchy-matchy outfits, disrupting the FL’s work, inviting people over without asking first, deciding to just follow her home and staying the night….It’s written as if they’re friends, but it kinda feels unhealthy. Maybe I’m thinking too hard about it.
Nah. She IS irritating. Hates her brother with a passion for leaving the fam and shackling her as heir to the name not even questioning why AT 10 YO(from what I remember)he left the family and parents allowed it to happen.
FUCKED UP. She's spoiled and it shows which fits the plot. How someone with influence, money, and power gets away with shit. We see her push push push and she gets away with everything it's annoying. She's not even a child but acts like it at times. Admittedly, she's not an adult either so there's that.
