The protagonist is spineless. She lives under the shadow of the antagonist willingly even though she knows how evil she is. She doesn’t live for herself and knows that she is unhappy under her. I just don’t understand how she can repeating the same mistake when she has been miserable under for multiple years. The story is really fast paced too. I wish it took some more time to build up. It also makes no sense to me how Siki has already fallen in love with her even though he had to endure living under the cruel behavior of the former villainess. If the story had more depth and was slower paced, it may make more sense. But now it’s already an infuriating read. The protagonist could use the information to her advantage and just fulfill the plot herself since she knows best. The antagonist will behave like a villainess anyways.

I can not believe that they ended up together and that Rael ended up falling for the emperor. The emperor was not in love but obsessed with him and Rael probs has the Stockholmsyndrome cause there is no way he fell in love with him after being shackled and forced to live with him. Especially with Lionhearts‘ crazy behavior. I wished for an revenge arc where Rael would achieve his goals without needing the emperor.
